Admin
As the needs of our community have grown and changed over time, we've constantly improved our web technology to what it is now. However, there are some old sections of Leadwerks.com that have valuable information, nice content, or are merely fun to look at for sentiment. Leadwerks 2 documentation will continue to be available here: http://www.leadwerks...cumentation/le2 Wiki: http://leadwerks.com/wiki/index.php?title=Main_Page Tutorials: http://www.leadwerks.com/werkspace/page/tutorials/_/legacy/ Old Gallery: http://www.leadwerks.com/werkspace/page/videos_legacy Even older version: http://www.leadwerks.com/werkspace/gallery Old video gallery: http://www.leadwerks.com/werkspace/page/videos_legacy Old downloads section: http://www.leadwerks.com/werkspace/files/category/39-legacy/ And the really really old forum from years ago can be found here: http://leadwerks.com/forum/
Pixel Perfect
I already have a local copy of the the entire Wiki site and may well do the same for the documentation URL to ensure I'm not dependent on it's continued availablity. What's the situation with the LE2 Assets? Will they continue to be available or should I be doing a last asset grab to ensure I have anything I need should I return to development work in the future? Josh
Re-posting. I have not looked at the accuracy, match with the wiki, since they were created. That's quite nice. One of the reasons we didn't do the printed manual was because it would have taken a lot of time to pull all the html pages and make a PDF. Maybe we should consider doing a run of them for 3.1? 1 Quote My job is to make tools you love, with the features you want, and performance you can't live without. kennar
I plan to do the same for the evolving LE3 documents in the wiki. Because what I'm doing is manual, it won't work without a change log so that content can be updated.
beo6
What i miss in the current documentation is a functional search. Even the current documentation and reference for LE3 does not allow a search. It always says it could not find anything.
gamecreator
Edit: I think I just found the problem. When you go to the Documentation page the Category in the search bar is blank. If you set it to Documentation first, it looks like it works. This should probably be the default but it's an easy fix.
cassius
Surprised so many people still using le2.I still take a look at my le2 game,We shouldn;t have to depend on having an internet connection. YouGroove
Yes when connected to Steam you cango offline mode. And you'll be in offline mode the next time you launch Steam. I also asked offline docs, like Reference manual in one PDF , lot more fast and easy to use than navigator. Josh
There is a secret feature built into this site. Pass "?clean=1" after any URL to strip out all the chrome: http://www.leadwerks.com/werkspace/page/documentation/_/command-reference/entity/entityshow-r182?clean=1 Adding "showbanner=0" will strip out the breadcrumb bar: http://www.leadwerks.com/werkspace/page/documentation/_/command-reference/entity/entityshow-r182?clean=1&showbanner=0 Here's an example of a single page downloaded as PDF: www_leadwerks_com_werkspace_page_documentation_command-reference_entity_entitygetaabb-r169_clean=1&showbanner=0.pdf We were planning to use this to make a physical printed manual, but that didn't work out.
