  4. I noticed in the scene tab that when you place an object the position numbers were higher. They now show position in cm. Has something changed in the last update?

To use self.alertnoise you would have to put at the top of your script Script.alertnoise = false if self.entity:Follow(self.target.entity,self.speed,self.maxaccel) then if prevmode~="chase" then if self.sound.alert then if self.alertnoise == false then self.entity:EmitSound(self.sound.alert) self.alertnoise = true end end end end The above is quite crude but should do the job. You will also need to set the alertnoise to true again at some point. It will be worth going through the tutorials on Lua, the basics can be picked up quite quick.
  6. The idea behind the game launcher is great, we now just need to get games on there which the Summer tournament should help do. I plan a little game myself for that. The fact that anybody can get a game played through the Steam service is a great selling point for leadwerks. Maybe you could pick a game and do a hot game of the week to promote via the launcher. So its in no1 place maybe taking out the top line with a small feature. Maybe talk to the indie developer about where its going etc. Interested in where the launcher will be promoted. Anyway its down to us to get it filled now.

  8. For now if you parent them togeather they will rotate fine. I have some crates in my game like this so I can just move and rotate into diffrent rooms. I then just pick individual ones to make adjustments on if needed. Just not the parent.
  9. Updated my game yesterday on the game launcher and noticed it didn't update my game, Restarted steam and unsubscribed etc to no avail. I got it to update today by having the Game Launcher open, Unsubscribing the game. Closing Game Launcher. Open Again and click on launch game with out subscribing. It downloaded the new version of the game this time.
  10. Those big scripts can look complicated. I have started doing more smaller scripts that can be used between projects. Adding to the script panel so properties dont need changing in code between projects.

  13. I agree the tutorials are very good, the Lua scripting ones cover a lot and is explained well. Theres one or two things I found that I didn't know or had forgotten.

  15. It occurs when I press the save button in the model editor. Not tried the other way.
  16. I started a new project and theres no problems with the model editor, when I go back to my other projects problem is there. If I start a new map on the old project or load the temp map the problem has gone. So my main map for my last few projects show the problem.

  18. Windows 8.1 It happens just saving in the model editor, not just resizing.
  19. I have tried resizing some models using the model editor and when I save the resize the editor crash's with an exception Access Violation. I trid this with the following fron the workshop Torch medkit Lifebelt and Old can. Latest Beta. I think its just saving in general with the model editor.
  20. I did find dragging in the object worked fine, the new way sounds fine as well. How about an autocomplete, that would be great. Also pressing delete while changing the fields would be good, I have sometimes deleted objects by mistake

    What's Next

    Game templates are great and the soldier for the next DLC makes sense. Looking forward to decals, I know these can be done as such already but an out of the box way woill bo good. GUI commands or an offical add on are essential. Looked at Noesis but it would take me a lot of time to get that working (not enought xp or time). FlowGui is good though not updated recently as Aggrors busy.

  24. I dont use it as much as I should, the suggestions would be good especially zooming.
  25. The ai now how a random checkpoint check box, if set to true the ai will choose a random waypoint rather than follow a set route. Just watched it and it seemed ok, the ai even went full circle at one point, back and forth between two and other random combinations. Will start a worklog.
