+1 for behaviour trees.

I would stick the Merc as a DLC for $11-$12. while keeping it on the workshop for $10 to drive people to the workshop that way.
-
Maybe you can pick some games and ask the developer some questions like an interview, then from that other peole can ask questions and give ideas.
Game of the week maybe.
If it gets a group of people talikng about a game it will give motivation to everyone.

A quality filter, or moderated games by Josh that could end up higher on the list could be a good idea.

Will pick this up soon, don't need it yet but can look through the code.

There used to be a bug which lost all connections. You be glad to know it w as sorted ages ago.

Good to see it grow over time. You have done well, will look out for the Greenlight.
Most people including myself have trouble sticking with a game.

I think paid items in the workshop is great and I will no doubt buy a few, my modelling skills are very limited so no additions to the paid workshop from me i'm afraid.
I do think that a good asset workshop will bring in new LW customers as well as be benificial to current users.
Also with no more paid updates it should help produce a good addition to income.
I believe the asset store of another engine has helped in their sucess, hopefully the workshop will help LW grow.
Anyway good work.

it's easier to buy if you don't have to enter card details. It doesn't seem like real money.
So through steam you would pick up more sales.

Looking forward to using the new features.

Thanks for the link, this might be good for something at work as well.

Lego, this is a sign.

The idea behind the game launcher is great, we now just need to get games on there which the Summer tournament should help do.
I plan a little game myself for that.
The fact that anybody can get a game played through the Steam service is a great selling point for leadwerks.
Maybe you could pick a game and do a hot game of the week to promote via the launcher. So its in no1 place maybe taking out the top line with a small feature. Maybe talk to the indie developer about where its going etc.
Interested in where the launcher will be promoted.
Anyway its down to us to get it filled now.

I did find dragging in the object worked fine, the new way sounds fine as well.
How about an autocomplete, that would be great.
Also pressing delete while changing the fields would be good, I have sometimes deleted objects by mistake

Game templates are great and the soldier for the next DLC makes sense.
Looking forward to decals, I know these can be done as such already but an out of the box way woill bo good.
GUI commands or an offical add on are essential. Looked at Noesis but it would take me a lot of time to get that working (not enought xp or time).
FlowGui is good though not updated recently as Aggrors busy.

Trello looks interesting, might use this myself, for work as well. Thanks.
Will keep an eye on this, Why no Facebook?

Looking great.
Agree with a dedicated Play button.

Good read, i like the mario video clip. Food for thought.

The enemys now chase after the player when within a certain distance and if close enough attack. If the player manages to run off more than a set distance the enemy will resume its waypoint patrol.
The range at which the enemys attack can be changed in the script panel.
I think I might do a worklog in the showcase forum soon.

Yeah I am ttrying to make them user friendly, plenty of comments.
It's actually making me think more about my coding and making it clearer.
The waypoints work similier to how you do it but more drag and drop. The scripts are really generic so can be dropped into any game.
Also the camera is further away to show the npc's navigating the waypoints.
-
Interesting read, taking the key config out of the controller script is a good idea. Might do that myself now.
There's a part in my game where the player relinquish's control for a bit, fairly basic in my game but again I should put this in another script.
The more advanced my game gets the more I see bits that needs rewriting and done in a better way. Will update my blog.
Look forward to seeing your game on the Game Player

Pictures can be fine for some tutorials, A clear name and maybe a brief description would be good.
Also maybe seperate what could be beginner tutorials from advanced.
This is all a definate plus for Leadwerks.
