  1. the blood overlay in the fps script does fading which is a good example to start from.
  2. check to see if the app your using didn't close it's process, as this happens some times with some apps
  3. there should be a .log in the documents/leadwerks folder if there is one, and just copy and paste the content of it here.

  5. Excel is not just a word used with microsoft, as in Excel as "be exceptionally good at or proficient in an activity or subject." Excel, so UNNO Excelled in puzzle solving as its core features. yes, it does to transport yourself, other items to other location's in a test, or stuff being delivered to you. yes trap for a dropper for like a cube be fine. on one

  7. you don't have to say you used leadwerks,or use a splash image as your engine in your game, but a lot likes to try and expose the engines they like.

  9. he put his game on the greenlight page to early, and thus now has to find other mean's of advertising, and exposes, you really only need to do greenlight that when you have a close finished project not a concept, as people are more interested in finished-ish game more or less, except a few exception's.

  11. that's odd, I know some people do have this from time to time, but i haven't experienced this once yet, except when before 3.4 released and changing to beta for me worked fine, but that was only cause of the beta workshop item's as before that it was the non-beta of before 3.4 official (3.3) beta, the non-beta version couldn't handle beta stuff properly, but that is the only time I had that kind of trouble
  12. Categorical's main goal for me is Replayability , which is a huge issue for some games. Main-Story I'll try to say some of it with-out spoiling to much (of course you may get different story's while playing) you play as a experimental robot called U-N-O,(Ultimate Nano organism) that is made of living metal, has developed a complex AI over several year's, and has got smarter and smarter learning the in's and out's of the science facility called (Easel science, that's a silent E, and is a long a, so you say it as long (a)ahcell, rhymes with Excel. the moto is "Excel with Easel science!" every puzzle room you complete you receive letter's though a pnuematic tube from other human test subject's that try's to talk to you and tell them selves about them and what things are happening around them in there series of test. Mr. Easel created a global warming disaster(making the world very cold) of his first attempt to dominate. A few years later he declares war on his own American soil. after year's of turn-oil of war, and pleasing him-self with war and cruelty, he finds him self dying later that year he disappears and was never seen again, only written letter's and notes was that ever came from Mr. Easel again. never seen ever and ever again. Game mechanic's: Procedural generation/randomization for the most Replayability I can get Level editor- at some point after the procedural is done. Fiberoptic vision - allow's you see hidden signs, and words, and other info other wise you may not have seen Parkour button's, door's, pneumatic tubes for delivering item's of all sort's Energy level- keep them up Sanity- you have became so complex and evolved that you have actually develop sanity for your self.   15. quite honestly I like vs 2013 a lot more than 2010, but I really only use that for Tinkering around with other older engines other than leadwerks.
  16. #1 I dont think you have let them download first. #2 that might be the problem why they fail #3 not sure why that happens, but I also don't own window 8.1, so I don't know
  17. you can put a .blend in a .zip and send it to some one, but to use the model's in the .blend you need to export it as .fbx, .obj (for props and such that has no bones) or the leadwerks exporter plugin for blender, it exports both the model to .mdl, and the material's as a .tex. for use in leadwerks.
  18. I am not the best by any means with C++, but I do like tinkering with C++ in engines and stuff, I tinkered around with the 2013 source engine code before migrating to leadwerks (sorry valve)
