  1. That's how I would do it It then allows people to bypass the main asset store page and get straight to the content they are after.
  2. This is to do with bones in an un-animated mesh. I imported my desk with bones, but no animation, and get the same effect. (see image) In UU3D there is a tickbox when exporting to GMF to allow bones and animation, I have to untick these. See if you have options like this in MODO for the FBX exporter.
  3. You can use Nvidia Normal map filter to make normal maps in photoshop. Which is here: http://developer.nvidia.com/nvidia-texture-tools-adobe-photoshop If you don't mind paying, you can get apps like crazybump and pixplant to also make normal maps + other maps. Here: http://www.crazybump.com/ and here: http://www.pixplant.com/ I think a black mesh means that the animation or bones haven't exported or imported correctly? I may be wrong.
  4. Ooh. I done a quick test, and with 500 newton boxes, I get 4fps. To get 4fps with bullet I can have 5000 boxes. I think the speed gain and the amount of objects you can have at the same time wins over the deterministic issue. But I cant see myself making online game xD. It would be great if there could be an option within the editor to change which physics engine is used.
  5. Wow, that speed increase is impressive.
  6. I'm also excited about this! No more closing the editor to update the files!
  7. You can also just calculate the indirect light. Then your scene looks nice and you can still throw objects around the room using LE's lights and shadows.
  8. Its nothing to do with flipped normals is it? Select your cube in blender, enter edit mode, select all the verts and hit left ctrl + N to recalculate the normals. It's worth a try Although, if this was the case, you would see a few faces.
  9. This is amazing! I've wanted a day/night cycle for ages! Thankyou Klepto2
  10. Excellent video! I loved the creepiness towards the end! Nice models and textures.

  14. This is a cool tutorial. I always wondered how the font style would be changed. Thanks.
  15. Yeah, Josh has to manually process the order. Then you get your email with the download link and Serial number in.
  16. I think ill invest in an iMac once leadwerks 3.0 comes out!
  17. Ah okay, seems my 9600GT only supports upto openGL 2.1 I need to upgrade XD
  18. I can convert those files for you. I don't have much experience in converting animated meshes. But I can give them a go. Just send me a PM if you are interested
  19. Ah cool! I want an iMac but cant afford it >.< So will leadwerks 3 only run on Shader Model 4+ cards?
  20. Yeah, Can't you also flick the little slide release switch too? which snaps the slide forward and puts a bullet into the chamber? Would be good doing that animation too
