  1. Luuuuuuuuuuuaaaaaaaaaa! I probably would have given up game dev a long time ago if it was not for Lua
  2. Just loaded the scene, the light does indeed shine through the wall. I think it is the way your model is set up. The light seems to go through both walls. Eather it is the model or the material. The brick walls block the light, so maybe see how that material is different then your house material, and if they are the same and the light still shines through then it is your model.
  3. I think the editor needs: Vertex Snapping - Object snaps to nearest vertex. Makes placing crates on floors for example, really easy. Rigid Body Placement - This is an idea I though up. You make a static object a rigid body, for example a branch. The branch falls to the ground, positioned like it would be in real life. The object is then made a static object, but stays where it fell. It is a lot easier then trying to rotate the branch so it looks like it is lying on the ground. Benton
  4. What about raycasting. I don't know if that is what CameraPick() does but in the other engines I have used I just sent out a ray from my mouse position and it returned what object was hit.
  5. Are the normals ok? Like are there two of them flipped in opposite directions?
  6. <troll> C# for noobs write it in C++ or go pro and do it in LUA </troll>
  7. Ok so the zip file gets stuck on the loading screen but using the .exe's you provided works fine. Looking good, I like the look of the fog and how the shadows are so dramatic. However you need more grass on the ground, more ferns, different types of plants and some rocks and logs and stuff on the ground. As well as bullet impacts. But good work, I like the shotgun animation.
  8. Actually it uses a webcam...soon I will have more information and hopefully a website...
  9. I still just see a rock wall...I think i'm just *special*
  10. It is a racing game controlled by the head. If you turn your head to the left the car turns left etc. I am making it for people that can't play video games cause they don't have control of their hands for some reason.
  11. I got my project almost finished using the trial...
  12. This is looking good, great for placing a patch of leafs under trees etc.
  13. Well use the trial for now and make awesomeness!
  14. Leadwerks has no support for gif right?
  15. I think locking the game to 30fps is not a bad idea...
  16. You won't regret buying Leadwerks. I'm not even a good coder and I still like it, if you have any experence with game programming Leadwerks will be the best think since sliced cheese. Sure Xbox Live would be great, but you will have more fun developing for PC and mobile. Ok maybe not iOS but thats Apple's fault
  17. Besides you will probably make more $$$ with mobile then Xbox Live, and it will be much easier.
  18. We mean physical youngness, not maturity
  19. Smoothing groups...? Cassius how bout I send you the model tomorrow and I will see if I can fix the problems...
  20. I made you a little windmill cause I thought "hey this would be fun to make". It's not that good and I think a some faces are flipped the wrong way, but I might fix it up later. I will be using this in my project as well, if you are OK with that then feel free to use my model for whatever. There is no thingy that rotates, but that should be easy to make. *I think the normals are flipped on the front there, that is why there is that weird shadow* If you still want it just tell me and I will send it to you...
  21. Nuh uh, its 14 to 88 I think I'm the youngest here I think we will see many more happy attacks here when LE3 comes out
