Its great to see all the support for linux that's been popping up recently
-
the big question is it utc, gmt or valve time
-
I’m not denying the fact that we all will see improvements in time, just find odd the order of priority. No one purchased le2 to make mobile games.
-
Benton im sure most where under the impression le3 was to improve on le2 , it has nothing to do with graphics but more about improved features such as scene management, networking, physics, streaming terrain, prefab support, etc. etc. features requested by the community. Basically anyone with a current project has been ignored.
-
Well LE 3.0 will have mobile graphics but they might get upgraded for 3.1, Josh said that he will write a more advance renderer after LE3 is released.
How can we expect Josh not to try to draw in new customers. Tell me one business that does not try to gain more market share? If he does not make any money then he stops working on LE cause he needs to get a job and then where are we?
Benton perhaps if you watched the development of le3 for close to 2 years you would be a little disappointed to find there is no immediate benefit to your current project. If I was interested in developing a mobile game I would have never purchased le2.

Seems leadwerks is more interested new users than existing ones. When asked 70% of users where interested in developing for the desktop market.
Can’t say I’m excited about the new release, was mostly interested in the work flow improvements such as asset updating, undo and object scaling.

This tool would be great for pose to pose, not so good for straight animation, I’m sure the anime studios will jump on this. I won’t replace my wooden one anytime soon.

In your last email back in March giving the latest links you stated:
Why do i never receive these emails? i always have to chase up content.
-
I’ve had a brief look at it, stupidly I decided to go back to my roots and use pen and paper to map the level’s, I have since started again.

Self-employed graphic designer, bulk of my work is doing expo and museum exhibitions and web sites.

Have these not been uploaded for subscribers yet? I have not been unable to find them.

2010 has an MFC ActiveX Control template

look forward to the new material on the way, i also noticed after purchase i had doubled up on a lot of models but having the choice of format is nice. one suggestion can you add another texture format aside from only .dds like png in future packs?
-
Lucky for us all, the engine market is totally over saturated giving us all an opportunity to enjoy our hobby/profession regardless of one’s budget. Competition only encourages a better product. It’s a win-win situation for us all.

They also use 3D World Studio, for something.
I just wish they would pick up your renderer as well its very dated in its current form.
-
Most textures I use are created from several source images combined. I’m always on the lookout for decent collections of unique base images to extract elements from rather than a completed texture.

I believe this is a Josh product.

It can be teal and hot pink for all i care, as long as view new content remains.

It’s just crazy. Purchasing a physical copy from a store I can understand a rise in price but for digital distributed goods the price difference is crazy not all publishers do it but it’s catching on. New call of duty is only $99.99 USD
-
Elderscrolls is by far one of my favourite game series, but with a steam price of 89.99 US Bethesda can go jump I refuse to support companies that find it necessary to price gouge there customers on region with digital products.

You can definitely use the adobe student license for commercial work, you just can't upgrade to new versions without purchasing a new license. Been like this since they merged the education/academic and student license into one product.
-
My student status expired quite some time ago, guess I could enrol into a quilting course or something. Alias was the first 3d program I registered, im a modonaught now

Great learning resource, if only they took adobes stand and allow commercial work with the software.

Defiantly approach this as a web based app php, jquery, ajax, you can target all devices including desktops with one project. add, edit, update instantly without waiting on someone such as apple to approve things.
