  1. After re-visiting this thread again today, I decided to open up sculptris and play around, This time I tried to create a terrain instead of a weird creature :). I used 4 textures from the LE terrain folder for the texture map. The sculptris paint feature is really cool! Here are some pics, one from Sculptris and one from Leadwerks:

My scaling is way off, hence the giant palm tree!

  2. You creatures are very creative!

Lool, thanks, I try my best!

Wow, this is amazing. Always wanted to get into sculpting but could never really afford Zbrush. This does the trick for me didn't even know it existed. Played around with it while I was waiting for my Leadwerks registration code to be sent to me. I love how fluid Sculptis is. Oh and I'm new here, so Hi everyone XD. Check it out:

Hey Ken... Nice work on that model. Is that your first attempt, or have you had previous experiance with sculpting? :)

  3. I use sketchup, and the plugin for UU3D also. If you use version 8 of sketchup, you may get an error if you try to open a sketchup model through the file menu. If you do, just drag the sketchup file over the UU3D window. This fixes it for me. Just a little tip for you incase it happens. :)

    File Submitter: Richard Simpson

    File Submitted: 21 Jun 2011

    File Updated: 02 Jul 2011

    File Category: Models

    Triangles: See Description.

    LOD Versions: Yes

The barbed wire fence set consists of 13 meshes that can be laid out to make different shapes and sizes of fence. There are 6 types of barbed wire, 2 gates, 3 posts and 2 support meshes. OBJ files are included with this pack to use with Phygen and LOD models are also included along with their configuration files.

Here is the poly count for each mesh:

    Barbed wire = 2 polygons

    Bent post 2 = 108 polygons

    Bent post 2 LOD = 36 polygons

    Bent post = 136 polygons

Bent post LOD = 46 polygons

    Straight post = 52 polygons

Straight post LOD = 16 polygons

    Bent support = 76 polygons

Bent support LOD = 26 polygons

    Straight support = 28 polygons

Straight support LOD = 8 polygons

  5. Sketchup is great for architectural modelling due to its ease of use and measurement systems. That's why I use it :) It's very easy to build something accurate in no time at all.
