文 高
Hello, a while back when I went through the docs there used to be references to C, C++, BlitzMax and Pascal, It seemed really easy and intuitive to program in C, but now it's all bloated with ugly :: -> C++ operators. So what changed ? Why is there no more C ?
Rick
Because C++ is better than C? I mean it has 2 pluses after it... (begin language flamewar!)
nate066
Go C++. And classes are awesome that's why I dislike c
Josh
Leadwerks 3 is focused on C++ and Lua. As a result, support for these is much better than anything in Leadwerks 2. I may add a procedural C interface in the future for other languages, but it's presently not provided. I think someone made an automatic procedural generator. 1 Quote My job is to make tools you love, with the features you want, and performance you can't live without. cassius
I used c in le2 but found it easy to switch to c++ . I find the api functions a pleasure to use and no harder than c. I am not using classes with my current game because I am too far into it to want to change all that code. Most of my own code is no different to c.I am studying classes ready for my next game.
