i say not many games can run at 1920x1080 and a lot of the time they set at a lower res and make full screen. Lumooja from what i seen all you did was complain and you had not even tested. that is not bug testing. yes making comment is good but you have to have good with bad beta testing show were the bug are but you normal say what you like as well. anyway it not bad, yes shadows are not there, but i did not play with it much so can not say much more i would have a option to change the keys as some people will not like the default anyway keep it up

the only bit that i would like to see is mult water lvl( for sea and diffrent lvl lakes and rivers) as i want to make a dam scene with the three water lvl and a river. then am happy lol

lol rick i will say on a very bright day most colour get washed out(when sun glasses are off) so what they showing is very true but yes i like the left pic more then right, but at the end you decide how your game looks and what details you want

you need to to get the latest version of the downloader from the download section to get 2.31 and it will say 2.31 in the version.txt hope that helps

i would say, use the lang you happy with this will causes a fight again lol C++ is the main people will say but if you happy with Blitzmax use it lua you can use with both lang or just by it self. so best to decide your self and stick to it

I can say it easy to say that and harder to do yes it should be a priority but some time you just want to program and get on with it and not to worry about the doc till the end. but you are right it should be a priotry which is why in a team there one man that does just that, when the other are getting on.

one of the problem you have is there two engine 2.28 and 2.3 which both how have diffrent syntax this is why some of wiki is wrong the other problem with using DOxygen is making sure how you do you code has the information in it for it to work i try using that in the past it killed how i program and increased my time so much to the point of hating to program all i can say what we got is good but its a full time job keeping stuff like wiki up todate and Josh i think at the moment does not have the time for tthat but i could be wrong lol

yes i know of the linux one and it does not work on most of the board i work with as i said a lot of the mac is inbeded into the firmware when it installed int he factury NOW you do know a lot of boards have GUID but that can be changed, but there a lot of board that did not have this set in the factury now most games do not know or care about the mac address so it not a worry and you can alway check other id on the machine with mac to say yes or no

only some board it easy to change (nivida) most board it done when the firmware is installed and can not be changed unless you reinstall the firmware and the os only show mac you find it can not changed you find most network stuff have mac address that includes firewire as well.

i would say 2.23 to 2.28 you dont update but to do clean install 2.3 is a clean install, then yes it update when stuff is fixed or changed but i would say you should make a back up as changes could break you code ( but a lot of the time it does not) with a back up you can roll back and still be working. i have to say i not had any problem with 2.3 so am happy with it

am please to see you got it working which means you do not have cabbage in your head I have to say wine was always a pain but the last time i played with that was over 4 years ago anyway keep it up

i would say there a lot of job wanedt for VB I dont know moster.com but then i have to say all my job in the computer industry have been word of mouth i mean i know there a lot of jobs for COBOL and one of my mate makes a lot of money, but again am not going to push that lol but as i said just allow people to give a go and dont shout how bad or how good stuff is anyway lets just get on and have fun with what every lang you use

why do people away say dont use blitzmax, yes i know a lot of people like C++ but please just allow other people to enjoy other type of lang and at the end its c++ compile under the front end of blitzmax now i start on pascal and asm so like them a lot more then C++ but i dont push on other people to learn asm

not ip but all lan card have mac address that never changes you can get the machine mac address and if diffrent you not on the first machine. and by the way no two machine can have mac address unless someone has programed it in them self but as most people can not get thge tools for that you safe hope that helps
