Mmm.
I think some of you probably don't realise that I am teasing in a cheeky-scamp kind of way.
Don't fret over it or I'll punish you with a another video.

Aha, I didn't know there was an Off Topic section - I've always used General Discussion in the past.
In fairness, it was only added a few months ago after the previous time I had posted here.

Alright, I'll add some deer things walking about.
I don't want to do anything too complex as I don't want any of you to feel disheartend and quit.
I'll take it slow, let you lot catch up (as I lap you).

Do you get Leadwerks users posting their work in the Blitz3D forums?
Technically, they post on the Blitz forums (in general) and there are a few in the gallery.
I just like to give you lot something to aim for every now and again. I mean using Leadwerks Engine involves a lot of cheating because of engine features. This is real coding.
I managed to upload a second video, shorter and better quality:
Chow.

I uploaded a low-quality video:
Technically, YouTube has not finished processing it - so the quality may improve further later when it is finished and made public.
I am currently uploading a second, higer-res, video that will probably take an hour or two.
-
But I assume you'll need to start up your lightmapper again if you want to change the lighting in your scene, correct?
No, no, no - that is all realtime.
EDIT:
I have made a video - I'll upload it onto YouTube - may take ages though.

Yeh, it was meant to be kind of moody-looking. I always get told that my stuff is too dark (especially shadows).
Bare in mind that it is all DX7 Blitz3D though. I think it is not too far behind some of the stuff done in Leadwerks Engine.

Yeh, Leadwerks Engine is pretty much the hottest ticket currently out there - probably coming in a close second to Blitz3D.
Use it with BlitzMax and you pretty much have Blitz3D V2.
-
I have a yearly membership - there is about 12GB of stuff in there.

Stranded was a Blitz3D game. I think I have the source code for it.
I may be willing to trade.
There has since been a Stranded II game - I might have the source for that one too.

I think it should slot nicely into Blitz3D - just to give it that touch of 'street-cred' that the kids can recognise and relate to. All this BlitzMax and C++ are okay but, frankly, most people have probably never heard of them.
