  4. Heh, that is the Arteria horse and cart.
  5. If I am running backwards - then who is lapping who? Anyway, Blitz3D can hold its own. This is in Blitz3D: Complex stuff going on there.
  6. Yeh, but vedgetation collision has been an issue over here. I need to bring you lot up to my level - I refuse to drag this community behind me.
  7. Wait a minute - he's German. My lucky day has arrived. I tell you what, I'll trade you your packs for packs of XXXL size beach towels. I'm sure I can tempt you with some 12 feet by 24 feet big-boys. They come in packs of 10, so you can pretty much occupy a beach with a pack.
  8. I've used SpeedTree media with TreeParty and BlitzTree3D. Of course, this is with BLITZ3D - did I say that out loud?
  9. Wait a minute - what exe? What is it? Can I have the code and media for the GDC 2010 thing? I'll let you see more Blitz3D stuff if you want.
  10. http://leadwerks.com/werkspace/uploads/profile/photo-184.png This is mine now.
  11. Don't forget it is all being done in Blitz3D - no handing stuff over to the GPU. Blitz3D likes to do things itself - like a little soldier slug.
  12. He is right - that is running in Blitz3D - in DX7.
  13. This looks very exciting. I assume they are from here: http://www.cgtextures.com/
  14. I was not impressed. I think it sucks. You may get a couple of hundred people using CryENGINE®3 before it expires; however there is in the region of 25 million (worldwide) Blitz3D users. "puki" clutches his copy of Blitz3D.
  15. Not bad, but it kind of just doesn't have those 'come to bed with me' eyes that Blitz3D has. We need more demo things. Start handing them over and I'll check them out and pick a winner or two. Ideally, demos with plenty of media and eye-candy - good stuff only. There's some good stuff in the gallery that I can check to see if it is good enough to be included. I can't promise anything though - so it is best for you to hand over the best you can possibly do to stand a chance. I'll need full source and media. I'll announce a winner and various runners up at Christmas, that should get me a ton of stuff.
  16. I found out how to swap the tree out; however, it does it slow time - ie you have to move through the terrain to filter the swap in. Still, it makes it more exciting. EDIT: Cancel that, after driving for miles through the terrain, I turned around and the original tree was re-filling in behind me. The cheeky little scamp.
  17. I have finally been let loose in Lua. I notice that there are more posts in that forum, so I wondered if more people are using it (ie is it the more popular way to now use LE), or are people just asking more questions in there?
  18. I have got the big artic forest thing - Yippee. I want that GDC 2010 one though. Heh, I turned the artic terrain into a normal grassy, foresty terrain by swapping the textures out. Can I simply swap the tree for another one, or is it not as easy as just switching the tree?
  19. I can't find a demo in LE 2.3. Am I missing something?
  20. Wow, it is a big sucker - I thought it was just downloading slow, but it has deposited 350MB on me drive. 2.8 was only about 80MB.
