  1. Thats what I'm doing now, I didn't know you lose all animation when you use those other scaling tools so I was working against myself until Macklebee sat me down and showed me how he gets his models in LE. Now I'm good~

  3. Its ok Josh, I've been working intensely with Macklebee and he has taught me many things about the workflow of Leadwerks. I am going to start using the tools he uses, that way everything will look like it should. One of the things he taught me last night was the fact that if you use the model shrink program in the tools section of your site your model will lose all its animation. (Just another example of what converters do to artist) you know I love you, so make it happen an quit whining Always~ Vickie

  6. Fair enough Josh, but what I am getting when I use a workflow where I have to go through a bunch of model conversion is a "grainy" look to the skins and texture misplacement. These models you are looking at in this picture look "Much" better then than what you see here. I need a solution.
  7. I see it, thanks Pixel!, I was all excited for a min, I though LW supported Fbx natively and I was just finding out, LOL oh well
  8. I read on the site that Leadwerks support .Fbx format from Autodesk software, is that in 2.5 or that a 3.0 feature? If 2.5 supports Fbx the is there anything special I have to do to get my models into Leadwerks? Thanks for any info~ Always~

    Slayer! Wow, I haven't seen you around in a while, probably because you are using your real name now LOL! Cool to see you again Chris, and thanks for the nice comments. I hope to make something really cool with this engine and for the first time in a LONG time I have no obligations with any other companies so I can do my own thing for a change. Can't wait to see what you come up with! Always~

  14. Hi Josh, Hey we need to be able to make Balls in the editor, we have the other basic shapes just not the Ball. Is is possible to add Ball creation to 3DWS?

    The Shadows in Leardwerks are amazing, and not only that, I didn't lose any speed at all when I max out the detail level! I also made some flowers today. I plan on making some vines next that will run down the sides of the buildings. My next programming task will be to set up an animated character, Josh made a great tutorial so I plan on following that and see it I can get it to work. Always~
  16. Never-mind, I found the model re-sizer tool in the tools section of the Leadwerks site! This thing works great! WooHoo!
  17. I've upgraded to the new 2.5 version of Leadwerks and now the model re-size button is missing! How are you guys re-sizing your models now? Why did Josh take that feature out, it was awesome? Always~

    Thank you Flachdrache, that's very cool of you! Right now I'm using a program called "CrazyBump" to make my normal maps with and it works great, I set the specular up really high so I could see what it looks like in the game. I would be happy to have your help though, so I'll send you the maps and see what you do with them. Always~

    I'm totally with you on that YouGrove, and thanks for the tips! I like playing with the settings LOL! Ok, here is the first actor I was able to get formatted correctly and load into the engine. Next I'm going to work on making this actor model the main character and replace the default machine gun guy and have my witch running around instead. Please feel free to give me any advice that would help me do that! Always~
