Is Leadwerks Engine 2.28 still an active project? Will there be updates and will the issues illustrated in previous forum posts be correct or will everyone not using 2.3 be forced to migrate to it if they still want to create a project with Leadwerks?

Intel 2nd Generation i5 Quad Core Running at 3.30GHz. 8GB RAM, GeForce GTX 460 1024MB DDR5.

Leadwerks 2.3 is the only sold version, therefore I can consider that economically, it isn't, and since development is a directly relational curve to profit, you can consider that LE2.28 is dead.

I might be wrong, Josh will correct me if I am.

Yeah that's what I thought when it was announced that 2.3 was going to cost money. Josh did say he was going to look into some of the issues people were complaining about and fix them for 2.28, but I guess that isn't going to happen.

Well 2.3 was announced as an UPGRADE in which case older versions are usualy regarded as complete and bug fixed.

I think the lure of lua has taken over the thoughts of Leadwerks.Myself I don't find lua very alluring. <_<

You can see in the Tracker that LE 2.28 is still being actively bug fixed, when you look at the "Fixed in" column.

There has not been a single update since 2.3 was released... (the updater always says "Your installation is up to date.").

None of the things I reported in the old forum have been fixed (at least not for me).

(I was told I don't need to copy these over to the new bug tracker)
