I played a lot with UDK and i also saw Unity and other Professional engine, Unity a part, the main difference from professional engine to Leadwerks is the easy way to use it.
Leadwerks (and i must Unity too) is really easy and you could create a game even alone.
This isn't the same as for other engine i saw.
P.s.
UDK use his own script, unity use c#,UnityScript/Javascript.

Nice demo.
A little suggestion maybe you can try to let your ai predict where player is going, as for now it seem more following the last position where player is.

I agree with Michael Betke and Pixel Perfect.
Leaving users who don't really need the additions of 2.3 but the bug fixes behind wasn't correct.
Let me said, this is also my thought.

I can confirm that FO3 use navmesh.
This apporach can work with NPC that have near and small re-spawn area.
Also it could work with an accurate game design, however i feel this will take more and more work for the designer wich need to avoid maze or complicated area like bridge and river.
I did something similar in past, it worked but not as well as i hoped.
Anyway happy to see there are other "open" mind wich doesn't have fear to try new way!

Well, it was the bit where he mentions 'I got my hands on the GDC showcase scene' that made me wonder if he had seen it actually running in LE previously.
Yeah in a prior post Josh wrote he had a video to show on GDC.
So actually he doesn't need to have the scene on his hands..
lol who say its MPH and not KPHI suppose are KPH as Pure3d seem to be in Europe. (Germany if i don't wrong)

As i read here we want a different engine to different users.. Could you do this Josh?
Seriously this is the direction of the engine who don't like it can always change his own direction.
