  1. aaahhhhhh i see. i can convert my pictures with Make DDS in the tools folder and then use them in the material viewer, but that doesn't explain normal maps and applying textures in the editor. i assume it's a lot easier in uu3d.
  2. i think a better question is how would i make normal maps lol because that's what i need more urgently and i thought that was what the material viewer was for. this user guide seems to be EXACTLY what i needed. you did it again macklebee.
  3. i have .obj files that i have converted into .gmf files and i was wondering if i could convert those into the material viewer's .mat files. thanks in advance!
  4. i don't know how well this will help because i have not done it yet, but what i assume you will do is bake it in blender and then apply it to your model and once you have applied it, export it as an obj. the obj comes with an MTL files and once you convert the mtl to Make DDS and then you can import it onto your model in leadwerks. at least that's how i think it would work.
  5. i'm just getting used to leadwerks and i would like to know if alpha mapping is a thing... for example, i have a model who has alpha mapped hair, and i don't know how well that'd work in leadwerks. ...thanks in advance!
  6. i wish i could help. i've been trying to work with the GMF converter all day, and i was successful, but i dont know how i did it and when i did do it, the mesh was really messed up. i tried dragging and dropping and what not, but nothing has worked.
