  1. @shadmar : I didn't look ito their code , but it is easy to make same modification to other shaders like diff/emissive/normal/spec ? You should put them on the Workshop, so all people will benefit your great shaders
  2. I should some day try to make same game style. Level design is simplified and really faster to create. Do you have some playable demo ?

  10. Still no uniform scaling Gizmo or shortcut ? If you want to make rocks sizes variations it's a pain in LE3 without uniform scaling gizmo or a key shortcut Also to rescale imported models , having to enter x,y,z values each time is just not bad workflow.
  11. Just give some tag to videos or web pages like "outdated" Some filter could skip them also if the user would need it. I don't know Epic has tons of video tutorials , a lot made by users, something Epic could not do alone. You will need users in depth tutorial talking about specific things ,not covered. Anyway , just do as you feel is the best

Tutorials are not centralized enought, it would be better to have a complete web page page divided in categories of tutorials and links like : - terrain - BSP - character movement - camera - shaders - AI - Navbmesh tool - Model editor - Collisions - objects interaction .... The tutorial menu is too small and don't contain all that is spread on the site forums unfortunatelly. There is unofficial WIKI , and many blogs that should be put on tutorial as the information they contains is anywhere else (like blog about model editor new features) Why there is not pinned thread on programming named "tutorials" or "tips" ? Just do like Epic, put a documentation and tutorial buttons directly on the editor , clicking on them it will open a Web page summarizing all tutorials available. I forgot, but there are some other new users that made a really great suite of video tutorials, they should be in the tutorial page also.

  15. I'm fully occupied , i was just asking by curiosity. Do you know coding or scripting gameplay ? For the game you target you will need that. LE3 is really easy with LUA, you should start making step by step some level where you can control your character and camera first. The best advice i would give you is to really make a deeper reflexion on the game you want to make : - ARP or turn based RPG, MMo like ? how combat works in detail ? - medieval, futurist universe or a mix - One main hero or multiple characters party ? personnality, equipement and powers - what is the base storyline Generally you won't get lot of people jumping on board to help you until you show some good enought game demo. For 3D art something that can help you to start is affordable 3D model packs ready to use : characters, environments(rocks, trees, grass ...) , modular buildings Or you can use low poly and stylized graphics, fast and simpel to make , but that still looks good. Good luck.
  16. What is your game style ? Action, beat them up , adventure point and click ? What skills are you lacking ? 3D art or coding ? What things are you able to do ?
