Are you embedding game analytics? It would be interesting to see what variation endings users are having.
I am indeed, not only for endings but for optional choices and other things. I will be making a few graphs and whatnot after a month or so of the game being on sale, see what I did wrong/right and use that to aid me in future projects.

Nice work man. How large is your game now in comparison to the previous version?
From 3,31GB to 1,2GB. It's quite a difference.

This is good stuff people can use. I still highly encourage you to create a thorough tutorial on how to optimize and polish your game visually. Things like using the correct types and amount of lighting and shaders for your environment (for the best look and best fps), proper material settings and texture usage, etc. Visuals aren't everything but even these tournament entries could look so much better with just a shader or two added.
I will be writing blogs on doing things outside of leadwerks, promoting, exposure, data analysis, things like that. I wouldn't mind showing how I've been polishing my game, and other things, since I got a really big project, I found ways and did things that most users never even thought of doing

Leadwerks Winter Games Tournament 2016
in Ultra Software Company Blog

Time to work on something else for once, I want that poster

This would make it a lot simpler to see what players do when they play our games. Yes from me!
-
If you just plug it in it will work with no changes, with the controls you have now.
Good to know, I'll update the info on the game!

Really cool man. You should think about adding in controller support. If anything, pick up a Steam Controller and bind said keys to it before you go. I haven't played with the controller in Leadwerks, so it's something you gotta look into. I wouldn't bother with native XInput as I believe that Steamworks is eventually gonna take care of that.
You might feel frustrated watching others play, but watch them play until they totally give up. You might have a person or two that might not notice something, and you might consider reworking a part to make it more clear.
At Dev Days, some people just wanted to watch a Dev play and talk about it, which is fine too.
That reminds me of a few stories. One, before we went to Dev Days in October, The PUNT team was almost panicking to finish the demo level. It was like 10 at night and something was like really broke and the main mapper wasn't on to fix it. It was pretty funny, I was on the Discord laughing
I on the other hand finished the Blue Portals Demo a week in advance.
Also, while we were showing Jeep Alive and Kicking, Chamber 07 didn't work. A real disappointment, but it was just one chamber which I'm sure he played 100 times before.
I would love to implement steam controller support but I lack the funds to buy one sadly, although it's in my "TO DO" list either before the game releases or soon after.
And trust me, I've been testing the demo for the convention almost religiously, it's working fine, I had it finished on the 12th, and I'm already expecting some people to rage quit, which is fine, as long as they give me constructive criticism

The framerate is much improved, I'm getting between 70-140 with VSync off. This looks and plays great. One word of advice is don't make any last-minute changes before the show. I have seen people coding their games during shows because they broke something!
I've been testing everything and it's all running perfectly, so I don't think I'll have to do that! But I'm glad performance is better, that's really been my achilles heel in developing games, although it's a lot better now.
Hopefully this also gives leadwerks a bit of exposure as well

Will test it out and give you feedback later today!

See you on twitch. Omahwk here
Always nice to see a familiar face

It does not, since it isn't a new game, but I can't wait to try this update.
Haha, I figured as much! Oh well, hope you like it!

I remember when this was just an idea in Josh's head and he asked for our opinions, everyone agreed that it would be a good idea, and lo and behold it's a success.
In my honest opinion, it's been a great experience so far, on IndieDB no one gives feedback to the author about their game but in the game player, it's the complete opposite, I've had people adding me to their friends list in order to provide lenghty "reviews" about what they experienced, and to me this is a great feeling!
Props to Josh for coming up with such an incredible idea

Honestly 15$ for a logo isn't that expensive.
Thank you for this Josh, I will check this out later.

WAIT! Leadwerks doesn't have tesselated hair?!?!?
0/10 IGN- NOT ENOUGH HAIR.
Josh please fix. (jk)

When can we expect to see it in the game launcher ?
When I have it ready

I noticed all your assets are not protected , even sounds, i strongly suggest you to encrypt your demo assets when you'll will go more serious about your game.
Trying your demo, while loading was long and i had a left corner not move able window , i switched to firefox, trying to switch back to your demo main menu when loaded , i got a full black screen when it tried to go fullscreen : AND IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE TO DISPLAY TASK MANAGER : BLACK not responding screen
Only that point shows a really serious problem : Any game i play i want to be able to close it down with ALT F4 or able to display task manager. I had to restart my computer, so i'll try it perhaps when this issue will get fixed.
I have no clue how that is happening, since it never happened to me or anyone else who played the demo, so I really don't know how to fix that issue...

It's my taste, i don't like the Spider color full black , i would like red emissive eyes, and perhaps some red emissive furr or paint in the legs and foots of the spider.
* Fire effects are bad and will need particles (check some of my particle examples i made for LE3 wokshop)
* You have some strecthed horizontal texture on upper wall it seems, it looks not as good as others.
* Specular is too much uniform on textures, making real specular maps would help a lot
* shadows are too string and too black, as there is lightening in the room

I'll try your game later and try to post some other feedback for you
Good feedback, great spider monster, really good level design, keep working on it.
Thanks for the feedback! And as always I'll solve the issues right away!

Thank you all for the comments, after reading through all of them I immediatly realized my mistake, it was too early to put it out there for crowdfunding, but I won't let that demolish me. I'll keep working on it, polishing it and making it look better. Thank you for your criticism.

Once you will have lot more stuff, more polishing and a strong demo, you will get lot more chance of big success. Keep the effort
Thank you for the kind words
