Josh Posted October 31, 2023 Share Posted October 31, 2023 There is no support for saving BC7 without this plugin. The reason for this is that BC7 saving is normally incredibly slow. You can try this yourself in Visual Studio. Converting a 1024x1024 image into BC7 will take a full minute! The ISPCTexComp plugin uses special magic so that BC7 only takes a few seconds.
