I had to do a lot of work on the thread management but it turned out well.

This example will give you an idea of what the 2D physics are like. The small objects are off-centered from their collision shape, but that's okay for now. The amount of stacking you see is pretty much the upper limit for Box2D before things start slowing down. It's good at handling a large number of objects but when they all collide together the physics slow down.
