When I move mouse to a slightly steep angle I get a flickering of enemy animation.When I lower angle of view it goes ok again. Anyone help? I may need to restrict angle of view but don't know how

mx=Curve(MouseX()-GraphicsWidth()/2,mx,6);

my=Curve(MouseY()-GraphicsHeight()/2,my,6);

MoveMouse(GraphicsWidth()/2,GraphicsHeight()/2);

camrotation.X=camrotation.X+my/10.0;

camrotation.Y=camrotation.Y-mx/10.0;

RotateEntity(cam,camrotation);

sounds more like an issue with the character's animation or the code to animate rather than an issue with the camera angle... i wouldn't limit your view angle as a band-aid fix to the issue but rather attempt to resolve what could be causing the problem.

perhaps you should try just making a simple example program that does nothing but load the character and allows you to cycle through the animations to troubleshoot the issue.

if I add RotateEntity(player,camrotation); the problem goes away but everything moves very slowly. But you may be right,only animations are affected. The Bmax version of my program works fine without this problem.

I work on each version on alternate nights. They are almost identical.
