Thinking about upgrading to Windows 7 and wanted to ask a simple question. Does anyone who currently runs/uses Windows 7 know if leadwerks engine, editor, model viewer, etc... will run with no weird crashes or issues?

Well found out that my Vista home premium edition can't upgrade to Windows 7 pro unless i do a clean install, but my father said he did a clean install on his Vista (same version as me) and it put all his files in a folder called Windows.old. Does anyone know if i were to do a clean install would it do the same for me or should i buy a 1TB backup drive and just back everything up for safety then perform a clean install?

Yeah this happens to my office one time. We installed a lot of OS (xp, vista, win7) for testing on same machine. One of the Win7 installation had a Windows.OLD folder but was empty.

Anyway you should save your data on another partition (not the C:) and then install it. Will be ok.

I bought the upgrade version of wim 7 and it did produce a windows old folder full of stuff, but I had saved important files to disk as I was unaware that this would happen.I now have an extra external drive also.
