  1. First, I don't know if this goes here, but I did not know where put it. I have a problem with the collision of a gate (see the video). I have configured the collision (all in the LE Editor) of this gate with "prop", I also tried with "scene" collision, but the problem persist.   7. Hello. I'm created a small town in 3D World Studio. The town is small but he has houses, roads, sidewalks, some house with complete interior, parkings, etc, etc. I estimate that when completed, the small town will have many polygons. All the scene is created with 3D World Studio (only the basic structures, the objects as lamps, vehicles, beds, tables, etc, O will build with Blender, but all is on one only scene. Is it good this method to create a town, or I should separate objects? for example, create some houses, roads, etc, and then create the scene with LE editor, placing all object in it?

  10. Hi! I 'm testing the materials in Leadwerks, but maybe I don't know how to create it correctly. I have used AND Material Editor (good editor, thanks Icare!) and I use three textures: diffuse, normal map and specular. I have attached the textures and final material in this thread. The screens show a material ugly, very pixelated! I don't like this! My questions is: how can I create a well defined material? I have changed the values of texture detail of bump map and the specular brightness, but the quality not change. I have the max settings, not is a problem of this. wall002.zip

  12. Apparently, if I change the anisotropic filter (8 or less), the frame rate is equal to 16. In Leadwerks, other game engines and games. The GodRays are not a problem, do not change my frame rate, but SSAO consumes a lot! Can I change the quality level of SSAO? it would be interesting.
  13. Hello! I'm testing the frame rate of Leadwerks engine and. In the LE Editor, with max settings (included all filters activated) and 1600x1200 resolution, my frame rate drops to 40. If I add 3d models, trees, lights and more in the scene, my frame rate drop to 24-30, but the game works like to 60 fps. What is a good frame rate for Leadwerks engine? I have a graphics card Geforce GTX 260 and 4 GB Ram. My graphics card is good for Leadwerks? Thanks!
  14. In Leadwerks updater I get this: File "BMX/mod/leadwerks.mod/abstractstream.mod/abstractstream.debug.win32.x86.i" does not match server file size. Server says it should be 362 bytes, but the downloaded file is 373 bytes. Many times also the download is 0 bytes! File "BMX/mod/leadwerks.mod/engine.mod/engine.release.win32.x86.a" does not match server file size. Server says it should be 1971286 bytes, but the downloaded file is 0 bytes. File "CPP/mathlib.h" does not match server file size. Server says it should be 6119 bytes, but the downloaded file is 0 bytes. This occurs with textures, materials, 3d models, etc. What happen? I'm confused! I run the Leadwerks updater on Administrator mode (I use Windows 7 x64) EDIT: Now it seems to work. I have turned off some options in my firewall. I let you know if something is worng.

  16. So, the occlusion culling of Leadwerks is bad? I have tried occlusion culling in other game engines. In some, the occlusion culling are very good, but in others are very bad and very slow! How is this system in Le2? I just want 3DWS to create buildings and interiors, then, I want to create the objects with Blender and then setting the objects in the LE editor. I have a question about UU3D. I make all the 3d models in Blender. UU3D can import and export my animations? if so, is it safer that doing it from Blender? Thanks!
  17. Great! and one question... If I create a big building with many polygons in 3D World Studio, can Leadwerks apply occlusion culling, or render all polygons if is a single mesh?
  18. Hi! I'm thinking on 3D World Studio. I'm wondering if this program is for me. I'm programmer but also I'm 3d designer, especially in architecture. The problem is that I take long on create buildings! and I'm looking a program that provided me this. Should I buy 3D World Studio? I just want it to create buildings and interiors for Leadwerks. Does anyone have the program you can comment something about it? Thanks!

  20. Hello! I have seen (a few days ago) that Leadwerks 3 is in develop, so I have some questions. I wanted to buy Leadwerks 2, but with this news, I'm not sure... I don't know if waiting to LE3, or buying now LE2, you do you recommend me? (I don't want to spend the money twice). First, I have some questions for Josh. 1. Do you have approximate date for realease of LE3? (an approximate date given that everything goes as planned). 2. Since the new LE3 core is written in c++, raises the possibility of porting to other platforms? 3. The users of LE2, maybe it will some reduction in the price, or be sold at the original price?
