Well, I think character models are the one thing that are just too expensive and difficult to let "just happen". This character is not cheap, and I wouldn't expect someone to make something like that for free. Even if we were able to sell models right now, the stuff that's out there on the web is not very good.
I'm taking an approach as if I am creating a game (I'm not) and producing all the content I would need. That's the only way to stay focused on a specific theme.
If you ask me, I can create something for free. PM me if you need new zombies, I have mocap at home so I could animate it and stuff. (FOR FREE).

Josh, right now i have no luck in recreating this bug with new AMD drivers "Driver Packaging Version
15.30.1025-151117a-296567C". Maybe they managed to fix it somehow...

As I was shopping for my first gaming gpu last night, still unable to make up my mind between red and green, I got sidetracked (again)...
I stumbled on a very very cool video presentation from AMD about a tool called GPU PerfStudio.
I don't know why, but right after that I got an urge to learn about OpenGL, writing shaders, and got more interested in GPUs.
This might help the guys with the technical know-how (or those adventurous enough) to diagnose what is going on...
I think as a developer, you need both. AMD and NVIDIA. Because some of the shaders you write will show the bugs on different hardware. Right now I have a third PC to test how everything works on NVIDIA/Intel hardware.

I believe this is a driver problem and needs to be reported to AMD.
Well, after i removed all decals in AI and Events map, I got rid of this strange bug on my laptop.

I have same bug on my AMD laptop with A8 APU and r7 GPU. AMD 7970 Matrix on Linux everything works fine.

@Sakru looks good! Are you going to keep it high poly or convert it to a detailed bump map?
No, i will do Retopo in 3D-Coat so it will be low poly with detailed bump map.

It's made with C++ so I cannot put it on the launcher (due to safety reasons) :/ But I will release it on November 4th where you can download it from here

I think it is a bug in normal map (second pic. Page 3).When you baiking textures you should subdivade retopo mesh to get correct information on you normal map.s

Move rotate and scale are already on 1/2/3, at least on windows. W and E are already used in moving the camera in the viewport and it seems fairly sensibe having W/A/S/D/Q/E.
Did you mean something else because 1/2/3 seem not too bad?
Me I'd like to see pick object/pick face keys because AFAIK these aren't assigned shortcuts and at times I've found myself switching these lots to access the material adjustment panel.

Yep. No shortcuts for scale/rotation/moving in Linux version.

Hi guys. I think rotation design in editor is quite wrong, because if you select 2 objects and try to rotate a group this 2 objects will rotate along Y axis not as a group but as a separate objects. I know that you could combine them inside scene tree but it takes some time. Not a major problem, but it could be better to have this function specially when you have 200+ objects in scene tree.

I mean its not hard to delete them yourself... but it would be handy to have this done automatically I guess. Plus I'm sure this would be very easy to do.
Well it is not hard. But in my project i have a folder with basic building elements and it is around 250+ models of geometry. Removing them by hand is hell.

You cannot bake with Cycles. The only think you can bake out is light data. Just use Blender Render.

Thanks to YouGroove for telling about decals. After i removed them, i have no artifacts.

Yeah. It is strange. The problem appears only when I use gpu rendering. With Apu it works okay, but much slower. Drivers are ok because Leadwerks works great on my desktop with 2 amd 7970 in Windows and Linux. UE4 works great in Linux too on my Laptop. It seems like the problem is in Leadwerks + I never got this bug in old versions of the engine on the same hardware. The question is when will it be fixed? Or we don't support AMD now?
