  1. Hi could somone just start me off here as im lost. Basically upto now i have been using the script editor outside the leadwerks editor using a single script, loading a scene, objects ETC. But i want to be able to do the same in the leadwerks editor, it will be alot easier and faster, but im a bit lost how to do it. Dor instance, i have my scene, and what i want is when i press the game button the camera "goto a postion". And the one model i have in the scene to be able to e moved using the arrow keys. That would get me start on how i can then go forward with it. Thanks Andy
  2. Although not quite AA i still think its good, just a shame its not yet GMF'ed yet. Im still waiting for a few model packs to be converted Andy

  4. I can remember quite a few times when i press ctrl Z and get instantly reminded that... there isnt one! Would be nice, even just a few levels back, if not one. I would say majority of the time one level up is the most used anything more is a bonus! But if you use them after halfway threw your level when you decide it looked better 100 objects ago, then i think that should be down to your own indivual saves. So, just 1 or 2 i think is required, any more is great! Cheers Andy
  5. After recently playing around with the water plane i found it impossible to get the effect that i imagined. And after a short discussion with josh it seems he already has ideas and thoughts about a river editor similer to the road editor, which is also like cryteks editor! I look forward to it! Cheers Andy

  7. No probs, i "cope" with it and manage to get round it eventually. Do you still run Xp SP3? As both my machines do it and there both vista? Andy
  8. Hmm strange then. When i try to say select a face in 3d mode it will most of the time select the face behind, or the face of an object behind. Like the "sorting" isnt right? Thats odd then. Thanks Andy
  9. Ive allways wondered and never asked, if anyone else has problems selecting the face they want? I actually find it impossible sometimes and give up? Why is this? Thanks Andy
  10. Ok, so the example that rick posted fixes them. But is that the only way.... i have maybe going on 50 - 70 trees, bushes, grass, flowers ETC all with this shader? And it was a full install, and is uptodate. Thanks Andy
  11. Ok, still having same problem after deleting the phy files. It also crashes the model viewer, and the model view log says for one of my tree's for example. Error: Shader file "abstract::mesh_diffuse_bumpmap_specular_sway_alphatest.vert" not found. So, im guess thats a problem? Andy
  12. Ok, well.. as they only had the default phy files that were generated for them, can i just delete the phy files and let the editor re generate them? Or does it not work like that? thanks Andy
  13. Yes. I know its a card problem and not doubting that, but it wasnt a card problem (and still isnt) with 2.27? So i was just wondering if it is just the editor or if i compile a project it will run fine. Ill just have a go and see the result. Thanks Andy

  16. Ok, so i have started moving over all my models i had for sandbox over to the new editor, Ive litrally just copied all the folders into the new ones, but what ive noticed is "most" of them just crash the new editor... why would this be? Thanks Andy
  17. Ok, i havnt done much in the new editor, mainly just been coding. And what i have done, ive never had a skybox or shall i say, ever noticed this. Why might it be doing this??? All the demo levels do it... Image shows. Thanks
  18. lol well good reply too! On a serious note good advice and i do also agree with the testing it is possible by releasing it for beta testing. And i do envy anyone who manages solo to create a good selling title. Andy
  19. Hi, i just thought ide post some queries towards a thought that keeps cropping up in my mind. Firstly is anyone currently succefully selling or making money (apart from josh) from leadwerks? Or has anyone ever sold any games / apps developed using leadwerks? I have started many different projects and even though i am quite capable of creating good media, models, animations level design and programming experience and getting excellent result BECAUSE of leadwerks, i still find it very hard if not impossible to develop somthing that would be of a interest to sell due to time and actual work involved to create such title yourself as apposed to a team of a few 100. I feel its more a shame that leadwerks is so so good but it cant be exploited and i bet if there was a good team that had the time and skills could easily develop a AAA title using leadwerks and possibly make / start good money and successful career in game design. But on your own i personally think it would be such a struggle, even if somehow you manage to develop somthing that gauges big interest and could be a hit the testing for bugs that AAA titles go threw before sale is huge and done with a large team. So, my question is do you think it is actually possible on your own or small team to create a selling title? Not that it changes my use with leadwerks as i enjoy using it for hobby reasons but its allways my dream to developed a selling title. Just wondered what your thoughts were towards this. Also, have none of you ever thought about teaming up on here as a forum to try and mass create a selling title? Thanks Andy
  20. Hi, for debugging purposes i am wanting to draw a line in 3D? So basically between 2 3D points (XYZ)? Is this possible?, when i refer to a line, i mean like the line you see when you set debugging on for physics or have a model show as a wireframe? Thanks Andy
  21. Hi, ok so in the editor that works fine, how do i go about getting it to be like that at runtime? I cant seem to see any commands for it in the wiki? thanks Andy
