  1. Well usually I get a .max file with either .tga files or just .jpg files for the textures. I open the .max file in 3DS Max then export it as a .obj then use the obj2gmf converter. I open it in game and it's huge without textures.
  2. I have multiple .obj files and I use the provided tool to convert it to .gmf I get the .gmf and it works in game but without any texture, any idea how I can get a texture to work? It works when I open it in 3ds as a.obj
  3. Ah, after I restarted the editor it worked fine, cheers. Really want a nighttime skybox but I can't download anything from the asset store and don't have a clue where to get any.
  4. When I choose this skybox in the editor, it goes all psychedelic when I move the view around (random colours filling the sky) and I do not see the skybox.
  5. That's what I like to hear! I played around with LE3's terrain editor then went ahead and tried out CryEngine 3 SDK but then found out that CE3 costs 700k-1m to license compared to your $200 so I had to leave CE3's awesomeness to go back to LE2 so hopefully there will be some great improvements in terrain editing. (Ultra-long sentence ftw.)
  6. So we'll have to stick to LE2 for terrain work until LE3 supports it? Or will their still be a terrain editor in LE3? Sorry I'm rather new to the game engine scene.
