That worked! But do you have the codes for the Bushes = vegetation_bushes_cornusmas_leaf, vegetation_bushes_hartriegel_leaf, vegetation_bushes_branch, vegetation_fields_gras_cover.
And the Trees = vegetation_tree_beech_leaf, and palm_fronds. Sorry theres lots of them but they are all having the same problem as oak was.

sorry for the wrong one.

right click it and use open with .. then select notepad.
it had no effect. Because the code you gave matches the exact code already present in the Mat file.
-
open it in notepad, and replce the code in it with that above, make copies though of the originals, just in case.
it won't let me open it in notepad for some reason. Should the file be called a Matlab Audio format because for some reason all my mat files have that.
-
back up the mat file for the oak tree then try the above code in the mat file.
How do i try the code in the mat file?
-
What should i do with this if you don't mind me asking.
-
yea one thats doing it is ( Oak>A>Winter )

do you mean youre getting "black squares" instead of some branches?
Yea, they're squares where branches should be but they do have color to them.
-
Ok i'am now able to see them but i think, (based on what people were talking about)their still in alpha mode.
-
just tried and it closes the model viewer out immediately too.

I've been have some problems with the European nature pack, whenever i place certain trees, bushes, and grasses onto terrain in the editor for some crazy reason they cause the editor to immediately close. anyone got a solution, or a suggestion on how to fix this? any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

i would like to see more buildings, probably run down city feel, and various filler items: like boxes, benches, computers, etc.
-
This is really helpful.
-
For your graphics card.
That appeared to work, thanks a lot to every one who help.
-
probably will not help, but have you updated your drivers?
for what the, SDK?
-
Create a folder outside "program files".
Let's say d:\test.
Copy materialeditor.exe, shaders.pak, newton.dll from Leadwerks directory
to it. Try to run it.
Or try a fresh install of Leadwerks to a directory outside "program files" like "c:\Leadwerks engine SDK"
and then try again.
No more ideas from me at them moment.
i tryed both ideas but no luck.

Ok, I see
You can try to execute the editor as admin and in xp compability mode.
Hmm even with that the material editor still crashed but this time it did create a text document, named, MaterialEditor, but sadly theres nothing on it.
-
Which operating system are you on? Windows XP?
Are you using an admin account?
Would be nice if you put informations about your system in your signature
for the future.
Okay added that into my signature, and i'm using the admin account, on an OS Vista Home premium Edition x64 bit.

and the MaterialEditor.log?
it doesn't create a .log either, unless there in a folder within the SDK Dir.
-
It should be in the directory of your Leadwerks Engine, normally
"C:\Program Files\Leadwerks Engine SDK".
It's named "MaterialEditor.log" and created if your start materialeditor.exe.
It can be that the editor crashes before creating the log file.
Start the modelviewer.exe. Does it create a ModelViewer.log?
for some reason the modelviewer.exe doesn't create a .log in the SDK dir, but it works fine (the model viewer).
-
look in the directory where you installed the Leadwerks SDK.
i'm in

I really sorry i'm new to this, and have no clue where to find this materialeditor.log
-
Not from the information you have supplied what does it say in your MaterialEditor.log?
Could you tell me how to get to my material editors log?
