  1. You should be able to make it with Steamworks https://www.ultraengine.com/learn/Steamworks?lang=lua
  2. You're on the beta branch (version 0.9.3), and Josh is working on changing how objects are created. It's still in progress, so if you want to make an object, switch to the 0.9.2 branch.
  3. Tried on both 0.9.2 default and beta branch, same result persists.
  4. I've found a bug: when I insert a camera and select View -> Frame Selection, all viewports go blank.
  5. Adjustable Spotlights: Idea: Let users easily control the cone angle of spotlights. How: scale tool to spotlights for adjusting the spread of light. Camera Direction Indicator: Idea: Make it clear which way the camera is facing. How: Display a visual arrow or indicator in the editor showing the camera direction. Shift for Precise Rotation: Idea: Allow precise object rotation with a key press. How: Holding down Shift while rotating snaps objects to 15-degree increments for accuracy.
  6. I've got a small suggestion that I think could make the Map Editor even more user-friendly. How about adding a feature where users can easily group selected objects? It would be super handy to just press Ctrl + G or have a right-click option to "Group Objects" when you've got a bunch of elements to manage. This way, it becomes much easier to handle multiple objects as a single unit, especially in more complex scenes. It's just a thought to enhance the workflow and make Ultra Engine an even smoother experience.
  7. Whether automatically or manually, when users select an object in one viewport, it would be beneficial to navigate the other three viewports to focus on the selected object. Imagine effortlessly gliding through your Ultra Engine projects whether it's automatic magic or your click, selecting an object in one viewport instantly aligns the other three. This could be implemented through: Automatic Sync: Instant synchronization across viewports upon object selection. Right-Click to Align: Enable a right-click option that, when selected, instantly aligns the other viewports with the chosen object. Shortcut Key/Toggle: Introduce a keyboard shortcut or toggle option in settings for user control. Benefits include improved workflow efficiency and a more intuitive experience when working with specific objects.
  8. Yeah, you're right. It indeed turns white when switching back and forth between 3D views. Default -> 3D -> Front -> 3D triggers the issue for me as well.
  9. I tested the other three viewports as well, and switching to the 3D viewport doesn't turn them white. However, the issue seems to be exclusive to the 3D viewport—changing it to top/back/right/left, and then switching back to 3D, triggers the white background.
  10. The bug tends to occur when I switch from top/back/left views to the 3D view. Moving the viewport manually seems to trigger the update, and the white background disappears. It seems like there might be an issue with updating or refreshing. Windows 11
  11. I'm using the Steam version of Ultra Engine with an NVIDIA RTX 3060, and my drivers are up to date. I believe the issue is related to viewport updating—it doesn't refresh automatically. For instance, when I receive a message, it remains there until I manually click or switch the viewport.
  12. Yeah, I tried it in 0.9.2, and unfortunately, the issue persists.
  13. I've noticed a bug: when switching to 3D perspective in the editor render view, the display turns completely white. It happens consistently.
  14. Hello @Josh, If possible, could you please add a CM that displays the details of the box, similar to the way it's done in Leadwerks? It would be great to have a comprehensive overview readily available.
  15. So, if i understand correctly, the Ultra Engine Pro Edition will support C# and other languages in the future.
  16. Hi @Josh, I'm looking to buy Ultra Engine but I'm more familiar with C# than C++. Should I get the Lua Version and upgrade to .NET later when it is released, or wait for the .NET version? Would buying Lua now mean paying the full .NET price later?
  17. Will there be a discount for Leadwerks owners?
  18. It's good to hear that Mac support is in consideration. so im guessing it will support Apple Silicon ?
  19. is Ultra Engine going to support Mac os, or will it be Windows only ?
  20. is it going to be included in the standard version or the pro version ?
  21. Hey @Josh, i forgot to ask, when can we expect C# support to be added ?
  22. Thanks for the info! Good to hear about C# support. The decision on Steam Workshop makes sense. Great to know about the existing plugin support.
  23. Hello, I have a few questions regarding Ultra Engine: 1.Will Ultra Engine have a game launcher like Leadwerks? 2.Are there plans to support C# in the future? 3.When Ultra Engine is released on Steam, will it include workshop support for user-created assets? 4.Are there going to be any plugin supports? Thanks for any insights you can provide!
