  1. ahh. i see what you mean. as for TextHeight i must have been tired when typing it. as there is no TextHeight in the header just FontHeight. i even made up the code for it aswell. though i have to say things are made a little harder as the wiki site isn't keeping upto date with the changes.
  2. while trying to update my c# wrapper. i noticed 3 functions listed in the engine.h file which are not in the engine.dll. these 3 functions are not commented out. TextHeight UpdateTerrainNormal UpdateTerrainAlphaMap are they simply gone for good or should they still be there in the engine.dll?
  3. sofar so good. very nice looking work. though the top pic shows that nasty effect of repeating texture tile paterns. when ever you get too high/far from a scene. is there no technique to hide that effect?
  4. can i ask why Buffer and Shader has Entities as a base class?
  5. all this new technology and yet they can't reduce the amount of power needed to run them. i saw specs for 300w power to run the top card. i wonder if the length of the card will be smaller than the last generation 2XX series.
  6. carlb well i just downloaded powerarchiver and it too gives the same results. so maybe IE8 is messing the download up. yep seems IE8 is to blame for the corrupt file. i just installed firefox and the file was downloaded just fine with the dll file with in it.
  7. well i just redownloaded it. i still end up up with a file with no extenstion. on a side note. when i try to open the zip file with standard windows explorer (using windows 7 64bit os). it complains that it isn't a standard zip file. if i use winrar to open it. extract the following named file from it "Leadwerks C v1.3 Beta" and the zip file size is 32.1KB.
  8. i downloaded the 1.3 beta zip file. when i extracted all i got was a file with no extentsion. i tried renaming with .dll and vs2008 didn't like it as a .net dll. i even tried renaming to .cs file yet still no joy. so what type of file was it supposed to be?
