  1. I kind of understand it but not fully. After you set frame # to frame # then name it and save. Where is it saved? How does it know to go where it is saved? Sorry to be a pain in the but.
  2. I don't understand how it knows where the animation is. It must also be case sensitive.
  3. I'm imported a character into the game and want to animate it. It has animation but don't see where to call the animation in the script when the character sees me. I have looked through the monsterai and animationmanager scripts. I see where it is calling roam, attack, idle and dying but don't see where these (roam, attack, idle, and dying) are at. Any help at all to point me in the right direction would be much appreciated. Thanks for the help.
  4. After hours of searching the web on how to do it in Blender with no luck at all and playing with BVHacker I got it figured out and OMG I laughed. I loaded the BVH file into BVHacker and with ONE click on the "Clamp to Channel" X axis it was done. Saved file, loaded into Blender with character and exported. Imported into game and now character walks in place and collision. If someone that knew how to do this and was watching over my shoulder, they would be laughing their *** off at me. Thanks for the help guys.
  5. Thanks a lot for the help. Now I need to figure out how to take the animation and keep it from moving forward LOL. There is always something.
  6. What about if I wanted a character to roam around? Is there a path creator? I do remember seeing in one of the videos about setting nodes for the the character to follow.
  7. Yes the character moves across the floor. Why would I want the character to stand there with walking animation? I'm think I get where you are going with this. The character would then be stuck with the 3D gizmo but then how do I make it move across the floor like it's walking that way?
  8. Thanks guys. Got it to do it in Blender just fine. Easier than I thought it was going to be. But, yes a but. Where the 3D gizmo starts when I run the game is acting like an invisible box that does not stay with the character as the character walks and I can walk through the character. Any thought?

I went to Arteria3D to look for 3D models because of http://www.leadwerks.com/werkspace/blog/41/entry-1253-scifi-interior-construction-kit-released-on-steam/ I thought it was a wise and safe choice. I bought a 3D model a day and a half ago and still nothing from them. I sent a message and no reply. All I have received was an email stating that I bought an item, price and so on. On their site after I bought it says "We've accepted your order, and we're getting it ready. A confirmation email has been sent to *********.com. Come back to this page for updates on your order status. I wouldn't think buying a digital item would take over a day or even minutes to start downloading. Anyone else have this issue with them?
  10. I made an alien in MakeHuman, animated it and exported using Blender. I imported the alien into Leadwerks and all is good but two things. The 3D things to move it around (What is it called?) is about 3 feet in front of the alien. How do I move it to the center of the alien? Another thing is where the 3D gismo to move the alien is like stuck there when I run the game. I run the game, alien is walking, 3D gismo can't be seen but I can't walk there. It's like an invisible box. It does not move with the alien just where it was when fist running the game. It's odd. Thanks all for the help.
  11. Brutile is a genius! Adding the GetLightQuality API in the Main.Lua fixed the problem. Dark inside with no light shining through and daylight outside. Thanks so much.
  12. I deleted the directional light and changed ambient light to black and that works. Can't see anything But I still don't understand why the directional light a mile up in the sky is in the room like in the video. I'm so confused LOL
  13. It is directional light. I have tried different settings but don't really know what I'm doing. When I delete it it's dark both outside and inside. I just want it dark inside. Which brings up another question. When I delete the light, it's not completely dark inside. I can still see.

  15. I have the walls as thick as the sliding door frame. I will make the walls and roof really thick and see what happens tonight.
  16. First question: In the terrain editor,can you delete a single tree, bush? Not sure how you can pick one tree to delete it. Also, when you are painting the terrain and change your mind or make a mistake, how do you delete the path of that paint? It remembers what you did so you can change the texture but I want to delete completely what I painted in an area. Second question: I made a simple box/building with one door. All walls and ceiling overlap and the entire box is a little in the ground but I'm getting some light in the corners. I thought maybe the door so I put a wall across the door but still get lights in the corners. When I back away the light grows and when I walk toward the light it fades then goes away the closer I get to it. I"m trying to make a completely dark room then I can add some faint light in it.
