  1. Just checkin in to see if you had a chance to look at those files.
  2. I would like to upload the prefab, leadwerks model file, or .map file. However, this is what the web page tells me when I attempt to do so, "Error You aren't permitted to upload this kind of file." Attached is the script. It is the script that comes with the editor. SwingingDoor.lua
  3. I am not sure if this has anything to do with the problem. When I combine the doors and the frame (frame as the parent) everything is is selected. However, when I right click on the frame to create a prefab the doors are deselected. The frame is the only thing highlighted in the scene tab and in the perspective window.
  4. As soon as I create a unique prefab, by modifing it, the doors act normally. Attached are the fbx files. Doorframe.fbx Door.fbx
  5. It does not make any sense. The doors and frame are in the same location in the perspective, but when I run the scene the doors move to the original location where the prefab was made.
  6. I set up some doors and a frame with animation and sound. The prefab I have created looks fine from the perspective window, however when I run the scene the doors stay in the location that he prefab was made. The door frame is at the top of the hierarchy for the prefab. The attached photos are as follows: -Perspective -Original models -Prefab -Original doors opened (I moved the orginal model forward to easily show the location of the prefab doors)
  7. I there a way to hide object/models? I have a structure with multiple floors, and am currently white boxing. The sctructure is composed of 'tiles' within each floor. The problem arises when I want to introduce props/objects into the scene. It is difficult to work on floor 2 without being able to turn the visibility of floor 1 off.
  8. I noticed that the Ubuntu Software price is $200. Is the standard version the only version that will be offered on the Ubuntu Software Center? Additionally, if you have already purchased Leadwerks for Ubuntu can someone use the software center to install with there current license?
  9. I got it booted up. I kept the defult install directory, root, for the first install. The second install was to my home directory. I had to kill Leadwerks to close due (root) permissions of the home/Documents/Leadwerks directory. I Launched Leadwerks again, only this time as 'su' and it would not launch. I, again, recieved the: Failed to initialize graphics. Your graphics hardware may not be supported. So, I changed the permissions of the /home/Documents/Leadwerks directory to user and launched without 'su'. It boots up, saves, and closes just fine now. No other issues to report. Thanks to those that attempted to help me.
  10. I did purge and reinstall, but not manually. I will do a manual install. However, perhaps I misunderstand the terminal output, because it does say openGL version 4.3 glxinfo | grep "OpenGL version" OpenGL version string: 4.3.12798 Compatibility Profile Context 13.35.1005 **Edit I did a manual install and I get the same feedback from Leadwerks. root@G73Jh:~/Leadwerks# ./Leadwerks Initializing OpenGL4 graphics driver... OpenGL version 210 GLSL version 0 Device: AMD Mobility Radeon HD 5800 Series Warning: OpenGL 210 or GLSL 120 are not supported. Failed to initialize graphics. 11. I think so. 12. Does the video card need to support openGL 4.4? Initializing OpenGL4 graphics driver...
