Scale entity by code

I tried that reading command reference notes :

 

The code in Start function fo player :

 



laser = self.entity:FindChild("FlashLight")
if laser ~= nil then
laser.scale = Vec3(3,3,3)
end

 

But no effect ?

 

I need it to Power up (manuel scaling in editor)
