The flashlight in the demo used "PaintEntity()" on a spotlight to apply a texture in a similar manner.

In the Leadwerks Editor, create a spotlight and assign the material to it.

example from flashlight.mat

texture0="abstract::flashlight.dds"
blend=LIGHT
depthmask=0
castshadows=0
lighting=0
shader="abstract::mesh_diffuse.vert","abstract::mesh_diffuse.frag"

I've made a projector spotlight for you. Place the map with the other lights and drag a projector-spotlight on screen. The only thing you need to do is replace the "projector-map.dds", with your own dds file if you want to. Be sure to give it the same name though.

27 december update:

The new 2.3 sync changes the lua a bit. 3 replies lower is the new file.
