Thank you for the quick response, therefore there is no reason for me to wait if it works out cheaper to purchase the current version. I spend alot of my time using linux, has anyone managed to run this engine within linux? (I run Windows aswell so I am still thinking about purchasing)

Hi everyone, I have been programming with Lua well over a year now and really enjoy the language. I am looking to get into game programming with Lua which is why I have come across the Leadwerks engine. Is there a release date planned for LW3 and should I wait before purchasing the current version? Thank you, Kirk.
