I guess it does seem suspicious but I can show you the e-mails. I just spent an hour searching through my mother's infinite e-mails to find the registration code that she said she may have deleted. I created the other accounts not knowing anything about whether or not I was a developer and the only reason I made the accounts was because I used the correct password, but I still couldn't log in. If I could show you proof of the Leadwerks e-mails, I would. All I need is the updater, and I do not know where that is. I assume it automatically saves to program files, but I can't find it there or anywhere else.

what is it titled? I've searched Leadwerks updater and looked through the SDK files. I have the registration code, just not the updater. P.S. There was a complication with my order, so I ended up having to contact Josh in order to get the updater. It may have been a little different than the way you got your copy.

What i'm saying is that in order to get Leadwerks, I payed $200, I downloaded the updater from the asset store, I used the registration code, and then ran the updater to install the SDK. Leadwerks no longer works and I can't download the updater because I can not sign in as a developer.

When did I say that? Anyways the updater that the link sends me to is in Asset Store>Tools>Leadwerks Engine Updater. That's the updater that Josh Sent me when I bought Leadwerks.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but I believe the installer for Leadwerks is a sort of updater. I used the updater to get Leadwerks and not too long after I got Leadwerks, I couldn't sign in as a developer. I have the e-mail that Josh sent me when I bought the software. The e-mail contained a link to the updater, but no registration code in the e-mail. I don't recall if the updater has a registration code with it, but I do know that I don't have the evaluation version.

??? I downloaded Leadwerks on Aug 13th, and some time between then and now I could not access my developer account. I can't clean install because of that.

...I also installed Leadwerks on the 13th of August and this crashed two days ago. I don't have a 30 day trial. I payed $200 for this. I am sure I don't have a 30 day trial.

the first thing I learned about Leadwerks was that installing it needed an e-mail from josh that contains an executable. I saved the link and that lead me to the leadwerks updater. In order to install the updater, I must be a developer.

... can't clean install because i'm not signed in as a developer... and I can't sign in as a developer because my account won't work... Contacting Josh now.

I used the recovery for my current login. That worked. Fumanshoo did not work. I still don't see how this will help me get Leadwerks to start working again. Perhaps it has something to do with updating it... maybe?

I used the password recovery and that didn't work, so I thought i'd rather not ask Josh for anything else. It's not that I don't remember my password, it's that the damn thing just wont work. I've contacted Josh for too many things too many times so I decided being pesky as hell wouldn't help me any. I just don't see how becoming a developer will get Leadwerks to work again.

I don't have a 30 day trial. I bought the software for $200 and had to create a new profile because it would not let me sign in despite the fact that I used the right password. I contacted the support e-mail and haven't gotten a response. That explains why i'm not signed in as a developer, but it doesn't explain why I can't use this amazing software.

I've had Leadwerks for a few months now, and it's been working fine with no problems, but just a few days ago, ( three I think ) every application for Leadwerks stopped working. With the editor, it shows the splash screen and then opens the window and then turns off and then all the other applications open the window and then turn off. I really learned a lot in the past few months thanks to Leadwerks and it'd be a shame if it died on me. just thought i might add that i've restarted my computer twice and that didn't work.

never mind, fixed it. don't know what i was thinking. thank you all for your patience!

but how do you get the cullface, bumpscale, ect. i have texture 0, texture 1, the shader.vert and .frag but nothing else. when i pull my cube into the model viewer, the normal map has shadows effecting it, but i can't get rid of the normal map texture it's self.

now my mat has the texture 0, texture 1 and the shader but it does not have the shadowshader or anything between the blend or the bumpscale.

sorry, you just said that didn't you...

ahhhhh i see what i was doing wrong. don't i feel stupid. i was writing "dot3" into the mat it's self, and was not naming the dds "box materialdot3.

will test this as soon as i possibly can. thanks so much for the help.
