Anyone? I really need to get the files moved across to the engine I'm using, but it can only take .dae files!

I've tried various programs like Milkshape3D, Blender and so on. But when I try to import them into MS3D, it crashes the program, and Blender doesn't recognise the file.. Is the 3DWS version of .X a different one??

Hi there, Is there a way to create new export plugins? At the moment, I'm struggling to find a free converter that will convert .X files to .DAE (Collada) files. Unless someone knows of a free converter that can do such a thing? Cheers Tristan

Ok, but will 3DWS still be a standalone application? It's just that I'm pretty loathe to buy the whole Leadwerks Engine with the view of only using the 3DWS element.

Hello all! Just got back to using 3DWS for a new project, and still love it! I'm just wondering, is 3DWS still being worked on by Leadwerks? It would be a massive shame if it wasn't, as there's so much potential for it (in my opinion!) I'm using it for individual buildings, and am currently working on a 14th Century palace. I'd forgotten how easy it was to use, to be honest. Even after 2 years since last using it, was able to use it like it had only been yesterday! Anyway, I'd love to know whats going on with this, as I did read a similar thread in the Requests forum, but that was nearly 2 years ago, so would like to know if there have been any developments on the subject (or 3DWS for that matter!)
