  1. Hi, Thanks for getting back. I actually managed to replicate on AMD and Nvidia. I'm almost certain it is a problem with vsync. The reason it wasn't happening in the editor was I didn't have vsync enabled but did on the standalone. It's not a showstopper for me at the moment. It is one of my favorite effects and I can work around by using frame rate limiting for 60fps in the Nvidia driver rather than vsync which fixes the problem for the standalone app. My Radeon Vega driver doesn't have that option unfortunately.
  2. Hi, I'm new here. I've been using Leadwerks 4.6 Standard for around 4 days now. So far it has mostly gone smooth and I love how easy it is to pick up. My map uses the Sewers assets so it is fairly reliant on spotlights, point lights etc. I added a wall light that had a lens flare effect attached to it. This looked great from the editor. When I ran the game standalone it was flickering. I have done a few hours of experimentation trying to track down the cause. I don't think it is anything to do with shaders. I can switch the lensflare diffuse.shader off from within lensflare.mat and it just results in a flickering square. It is nothing to do with windowed/fullscreen as I tested the standalone game in both modes, same problem. The main question I have is why would lensflare work fine when I run the map from within the editor and not work when I run it from the standalone executable. I created the project from the FPS template. Any question / help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
  3. This is a problem for me also. I am using version 4.6 standard edition and cannot use lensflare.mat at all because of this. Is there no simple workaround? I have Radeon Vega graphics card. This is also happening with the point light but only when occlusion culling is enabled. I think this is something to do with occlusion culling so I had to select all and switch it off for everything to stop the point light flicker. This is my first experience of game development over the past 3 nights and I have to say its been frustrating.
