Oh, its a small sandbox game that he could wander around in, finding birthday wishes and such

The easier thing is likely just having your friend install OpenAL.  He can go to the download page and download the Installer (not the SDK): https://www.openal.org/downloads/
It's a super small download (less than 1MB).

[I can't find my game in the Launcher]

I have made a game for my friends birthday, and attempted to share it with him. However, when I attempted to make the game standalone, it refused to work on his PC, stating "OpenAL.dll" was missing. I then attempted to publish it to the workshop, but after subscribing to it and attempting to find it, it was nowhere to be seen in the launcher, not even in the "Newest" tab. What can I do?
