  1. thanks to all I changed by root.. I also found the script macklebee linked to me but how can I use it?? i created the script (simply copy paste LOL) but after that I dont know where I must to apply it.. any tip?? @Josh ... I have the steam edito but the autistol prefab bug dont seems to be fixed atm..any news about that?
  2. how can I set ambient light for my level?? is ambient light set for a specific level or is there a way that it can be set for every level?? and how can i apply it=??? I'm ask fo that due I'm doing a very dark horror level test but I noticed ambient light is too high

  4. yeah..after I placed a cgs box in scene I rebulid navmesh and navmesh was created and works ..I even set nav obstacle to ture in model physic tab thanks to both...
  5. no navmesh obstacle is not checked and I tried aain with standard tutorial and navmesh works fine,,, but in my level navnesh cannot be generated...the script for the monster is the default mosnter.lua and works fine in other maps.. my map is a set of imported model meshes that i rescaled to 0.015 to fit correct player settings and give them a polymesh shape for physics,,, the fps player controller worls fine but monster doesnt move...

  7. my level is a simple level with some imported mesh that I applied shape physics and are some rooms interconnected
  8. if I go tools and build navmesh a click build but navmesh is not created I'm missing somethin??

Hi again brothers...LOL as many probably know I'm new to leadwerks and i' learinng the engine I'm makein a level form scratch and I almost finesh it.. so I tried to gime a bit of gameplay to it and imported the monster prefab in it but ater ame launch the monster stay there wihout moving... I imported he same prebaf into othertutorial levels and it doesnt work too except tat for AI level tutorial where are some other monster... so I'm missing something because i was thinking prefab must works since it has monster.lua sciprt attached to it any tip?? thanks

  11. ok... I obtained the texture transparency but If I put a light after a grate the light dont filter trought the grate holes as the grate is solid...
  12. solved ......manyThanks to mackkebee that is chat tell me waht I must do to I simply changed the diffuse texture to Dxt5 compression and applied the diffuse+normal+specular+alphamask.shader and all wordk fine a quesiton fo you shadmar... if I have and emissive txture where must it ( texture field in material editor) to correct diplay the effect?? macklebee tell me that engine dont hae emisive shader to default but I must downlaod your glossy shader..right?? and after I have th shader ...where must I place the texture and what setting must i to use??? thanks in advance..
  13. I tried with all shaders and all blendmodes..... in the image above blendmode was Solid... I know i wrong something but I dont know what...LOL
  14. doesnt work I have texture fo chain material chain_d chain_n chain_s chain_h chain_op in put chain_d into diffuse texture field chain_n unt normal texture field chain_s into specular texture field chain_h into displacement texture field...but I dot know if it is correct chain_op into texture 4 field but I dont know if it is correct too... but I have this result I tried with al shader but I always have the black border

  16. thanks ,I done waht you tom me and set the .op texture as dxt5 abnd set the shader as diffuse+alphamask but I continue to have the black hole into the grind that dont give me transaperency I need but what I dont know even if where must I place (what fiekd position,eg. displacemnt, texture5, texture6 etc) that texture into material editor...
  17. Hi I'm experimenting tand learning leadwerks and I learning to import static models for enviroments and I'm trying to import some dexsoft models specifically scifi corriidors.. I managed to import all assets and crete a polymesh for them. materials where automatically created but I managed them to apply additioal textures come with models like specular, emissive ect... So at this point I have some question about I must correctly place textures into material editor I know I must apply diffuse, normal, specular,, but for other textures I have heightmap, emissive, and opacity textures and I dont know where I must to place them to have them correctly dispaied I'm putting heightmap texture into dispacement field but emissive and opacity where must I put them?? specifically opacity textures that must give transparency for grates to filter th light where must I put these textures and wiich shader must i use to have them works correctly?? I just read all offical guide but not found answer to my questions.. some image this is the correct result I want to have these are some pictures of what I have now
  18. same error here.. I run on win 7 64bit after shoot game freezes and get access violation errore.. I think the problem is in the autopistol prefab since I attached it to the fps character into another level and when I shoot level freezes as above.. steam editon

  21. ok thanks to all..(for the moment LOL) I solved for material editor as josk said..simple dragged the windows to the left and worked.. for maps I'll probabily do as thirsty painter said and save my map with naother name... today I did make anitything due I was on a friend's marriage...but tomorrw is naother "experiments day" LOL t

  23. Hi to all.. I'm new to leadwerks engine (bought last night on steam...great buy!!!) even I create my account some time ago... I'm an hobbiest and I like to experiment...I like Leadwerks sooo much and I think finally I found my definitive engine to work (I have also an UE4,FPSC subscription, Used unity free for some time, Have licensed scirra construct 2 and multimedia fusion 2 LOL) I' m having some fun with leadwerks today and maybe I have done a mistake since when I was using material editor I dont know what I pushed on my keyboard and the proprieties bar (shader, textures, information,etc) vanished and now when I double click on one material the material editor only display only the material and not the bar.. I'm searching on the documentation but I cant find nothin to help me... another question I have is if is there a way to disable the automatic saving since I'm doing the tutorial project and I noticed that even if I not save the tutorial project I modified, it remains modified and I dont want to wast original tutorials last but not least I want to know if are there some useful scirpt or a lua script library here or on the net where I can take script to use, modify and learn ... thanks in advance and sorry for my nob question and my bad english... expect other noob queston LOL leon
