Is there a cap in the engine that says how much it can take on the Cpu? Else from cores

The editor can save maps yes. I believe the editor is written in BMax still? So I don't believe there a map:save() that you can do in game.
Oh, ok

.map files are binary. You'd have to know the binary format to do this. Nobody has done this, to my knowledge, to date. In general this is beyond what is normally done and Josh hasn't really officially ever supported doing it although he may give you the format he's using if you ask, but be careful with updates Josh may do on the map format as you'd need to know the changes for your editor.
Thk,
But the Engine can save maps, witch means an "map::save()" would be a thing InGame?(i know this dont exsist)

So, the first thing i thougt ween i saw the realtime lightning, was that there must be flaws from compiled lightning... Im from hammer so im used to Compileing. And i have seen some flaws...
1. Light often go beond the corner connectins of Box Brushes, so you can see light where you shouldent
2.In an Big and Tall room, the draw distance of light is kinda broken, cuse it seems like the roof and corner connections have light shrine between
3. If you put a Spotlight pointing towards an cylinder an move the camera inside an box corner of the cylinder, the light will be culling like if the cylinder is an box... Turning the spotlight off
And i miss the prefixed lightning

Is Visual Studio 2015 still supported?

As i understand it now, the maps made in the editor aren't compiled... Would that make the ingame engine able to edit and save or replace .map files? Im intrested in an "Multiplayer VR Map builder"

I just wonderd if there are any plans at adding the "Brush Cutter" tool from Source Hammer?
