  1. Hi everyone. Im converting some animated and non animated models in UU3D from Directx to GMF but when i place the converted model in the editor its kinda red and yellow like in the picture iv attached. Im not sure whats wrong it happens even if i export the model with no texture, im not sure how to fix it can anyone please help?

  4. Sorry just one more question, i have been looking for some good lua ai tutorials but google is not exactly turning up very good results. Dose anyone know any good links other than the leadwerks tutorials? Thanks again everyone

Hey guys sorry if this is a dumb idea but i just want to clear up an idea i had, ok so im new to lua and im wondering say i have an ai script from the cryengine sdk and i want to use the code in leadwerks can i do this? now i dont mean a direct copy and past obviously that wont work but is there a way to tweek the script to get it to work? Im learning lua but just want to see if i can get elements from some scripts to work so i can learn how they work. Anyway sorry again if this is dumb and thanks in advance for any help!

Hi everyone This may be a dumb question and if so sorry but in the editor when im trying to place an object, now i know i can rotate objects very freely but when trying to move the object with translate selected it moves in what i can best describe as shifts and i wan to place said object on a shelf but as i move it up and down it will either be to high above the shelf or pass through it. So my question is is there a more precise method of placement? Tanx in advance for any help guys

  12. Tanx I have it so my npc's can walk around the world but what i cant seem to get my head around is how to make them attack the player and to take damage and die when i shoot them :/
  13. Ok cool tanx for the replys again guys I have a few books on AI in c++ for games but are there any good tutorials out there for the likes of doing enemy ai and other npc stuff? iv done a few searches and havnt really found much. Tanx again in advance for the help i really appreciate it
  14. Tanx Just one other thing while im on here, i want to do my npc's AI in lua but im using c++ for the project so can i use both lua and c++ and bind them or would you suggest something else? Tanx

Tanx for the reply Ye when i load the scene most of it seems ok its the water thats off hence why i thought i may need ProcessScene.cpp. so how can i process the water? sorry im still pretty new to LE, i tend to try not to ask questions to much as i want to learn and not waste anyones time on the fourm
