Thanks Josh. For me then all questions (until I actually start using the engine) have been answered and it's looking good!

One last question, has the upgrade pricing been specified? So for v 3.1 is it going to cost the same as a full license again or is there a lower rate for upgrading from 3.0 to 3.1 and so on. Looks good though, especially interested in how the networking is going to work.

Love the picture of the road. I think you should be standing at the end with open arms and a bright smile. I haven't purchased yet but that's only because I have prior commitments for now...

Congratulations Josh! Before people implode I think everyone needs to take a cold shower. As a whole product LE3 has been carefully considered, including price and features and customers. Josh could release the engine for a lower price but what for? He doesn't exist just to make a cheap engine for us to use. It's a business and a serious product. There are plenty of free alternatives for hobbiest. When it comes to advantages over competition like unity/ Shiva he has been clear native code, performance, pipeline, us ability. Did I say native code?
However I think more info on the upgrade path is required / made visible.
Once again congrats.

Well yea but you have been able to use the engine for all that time. That is what you pay for. So yea someone who comes in and buys the engine might be paying less than you in total but does that matter? The price is not just going to increase continually... it would be to expensive for new user to enter.
