  1. I have tried Macks code, the controller set to a body mass of 10, without the adjustment to the collisons that is:

     

    Collisions(1, 3, 1)

     

    The barrels will fly all over the place when bumped into .. but using the suggested adjustment:

     

    Collisions(1, 3, 3)

     

    They act normally for me.

  2. Yeah but the 2 formats that are in there are just MPEG2. This is what I used and youtube didn't seem to like it. The other one is MPEG1. Youtube says

    H.264 or MPEG-2 preferred. I'm guessing MPEG2 and MPEG-2 are different because the MPEG2 didn't work.

     

     

    2? I have lots of options.. I took it that the software just picked up on installed codecs:

  3. I can't get the Debut Video Capture Software video I do uploaded correctly to youtube. The format must be different but I can't find where to change the video format to something youtube likes.

     

     

    You have the record as option and then encoder options at the bottom.

    I can use paint, visibility and vegetation. I cannot sculpt, flatten or smooth. That applies to loaded 2.28 into 2.3 and created 2.3...

    Hi robin, you said you have re-downloaded 2.28 .. have you tried doing this for 2.3? I have tried everything to recreate your problem but can't.

  5. Does LE support for any of these input devices? Or does it have to be done enitirely in the language your using?

    I could be wrong, but as far as I know LE does not handle those input devices directly. You'll probably need to do that in the language you are using and/or with 3rd party libs.

An idea I was toying with,in my mind only, was a simple ladder node, when at the node forward/backward would become up/down until reaching another ladder node when this would revert back .. then simply place the nodes at the bottom and top of the ladder in scene and let the code handle it. But thats as far as I got .. its #729 on my to do list :)

  7. Lol it is rather clean :)

     

    It was just done for a test, im playing about with Normal maps at the mo.

     

    The texture is not the best , but it looks good in the LWE Editor :)

     

     

     

     

    I am sure people can rough it up to their needs, a little grunge here some rust there, I like it, in my price range to lol Thanks again :)

    weird. it seems maybe there is an issue with c++'s hdr?

     

    I don't have that problem in bmax...

     

     

    I have the same problem with C++, HDR effects the DOF, but no problems with it in Bmax.

    I've updated my drivers but that makes no difference.

     

    On getting 2.3 I removed all traces of previous versions.

     

    I've just re-downloaded 2.28 and it works fine. I can load a 2.28 terrain into 2.3. I just can't sculpt it.

  10. thats fraps from what i understand... every video i have ever seen posted the poster comments to not pay attention to the fps due to fraps

     

     

    I use the fraps demo but certainly don't take any notice of the FPS it gives, I just turn that function off.

  11. Still feeling my way around this new forum. Is the old forum still accessible somehow? There were a lot of very useful posts there. For instance, the GameLib and Framewerk threads were great.
