  1. The 3.4 update is now live on the default branch. The big announcements and stuff will follow next week.

If you do not want the update, the previous build is available on Steam. Follow the instructions for opting into the beta and select the 12-2014 branch.

News announcements and additional information will follow.

    Hi Josh,

is there a detailed features list of previous build releases? I mean: As of today in Steam there are five releases (from 2014.08 to 2014.12), but I could not find a "release log" of each of them.

For example: the last stand-alone 3.2 to which of these releases is relative? In future it would be preferable that the build number appeared in the splash/about screen (imho).

Another question: The switch from beta to stable release in Steam is automatic with latest updates? How to check if the stable version is selected and/or ready to be selected? Thanks in advance for reply wink.png

  2. Downloadable zip archive with plugin is not meant to be installed with automaic install from zip. Please read installation instructions: https://github.com/alrusdi/leadwerks-blender-exporter#installation

When i started this work i hoped that exporter will be inside main Leadwerks distribution (correct installation and docs) but Josh is not interesting it. So we have what we have. If i will have free time i will create a separate site with documentation and sample content, but cant say when exactly it happens.

Thanks for the clarification. In my opinion, your add-on should be integrated by default in Blender (like the other exporters) and not only in Leadwerks tools

  3. I'm happy to announce new version of Leadwerks Blender Exporter with important bugfixes. Please let me know if you still have any problems.

    Hi alrusdi,

I've installed it regularly, but does not appear listed in the add-on list (Blender 32 bit, v 2.73a)

Addenda: Resolved! The automatic install from .zip creates a useless parent directory:

    ...\Users\YourUsername\AppData\Roaming\Blender Foundation\Blender\2.73\scripts\addons\leadwerks-blender-exporter-master\io_scene_leadwerks\...

To view in add-on list must be removed from parent dir. The correct path is:

    ...\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\Blender Foundation\Blender\2.73\scripts\addons\io_scene_leadwerks\...

  4. That doesn't even look like animation, I think it's just a scrolling texture.

Yes, it's true ... it's a texture that moves ... but, although simple, it gives an effect "animated" to flow. However, if there is a more accurate term to define this "scrolling" mention it as well, please smile.png

  5.

Hello. I would like to apply the same effect to the pipes created in Leadwerks, however, changing in real time the flow direction and pause it when necessary (start/stop/inverse flux command). There is already a LUA script dedicated to this task? Thanks in advance for reply

  6. They already kinda have - Nvidia has two Systems on a Chip both come in 32 bit and 64 bit variants.

Tegra K1 and the tegra X1 both can run Opengl and DirectX if I recall correctly smile.png

Is this a "translator" OpenGL/OpenGL ES?

    nVidia Regal

Regal is a user-space OpenGL layer for OpenGL 2.x, 3.x, 4.x, Core contexts and ES 2.0. Regal implements OpenGL loading, emulation for ES and Core contexts and tools for debugging

  7. Fairly sure they are still using the same crappy video core which only supports OpenGL ES 2.0

Hi Guppy. In your opinion is not sufficient for small applications? It would be interesting that Leadwerks Engine can occupy this niche market ... Unity and Unreal Engine are already "practicing" this path...

  8. Your project just needs to be updated. Open File > Project manager and it will show you if the project has newer files available.

Nothing. Even after updating the project, the error persists.

Maybe it has to do with the installation path different from the standard? My path is "D: \ Leadwerks \ ..."
