Whats everyone opinion on Ubuntu Vs. Windows OS?

I know theres alot of COD fans out there, and alot of you must have played Xbox and other game platforms before you wanted to create games. Personally i played games like Runes Of Magic, Perfect World and before all of that: Runescape; on my PC. However i find that the game i am playing the most now is Call Of Duty: Black Ops; So simply for the sake of starting an argument, i would like to ask the question, What game is better:
COD: Modern Warefare
OR
COD: Black Ops

Its not so much that the website is important, but the fact that it is made with webs turns me away from even the project hosted there. It might just be a personal thing, as a web designer, but I still feel it important. If anything, I would have gone with a wordpress install. There are plenty of free web hosts out there that would be even better than webs. Also, if you don't want to purchase a .com right now, .co.cc is plenty good for a project in development.
and how would I go about obtaining a co.cc site? also what do you mean by Wordpress? is it a program that creates css and html scripts?

Whenever I see "webs.com" I immediately get turned off by it. I'm sure that a team that is tackling a 3D game, could surely create a website from scratch, and pay $8(usd) for a domain name.
Even web hosting isn't that expensive. If you pool funds, I'm sure you could easily get something up thats worth running. Also, if you'd like to tackle web design, HTML/CSS are extremely easy to learn, and would be of great benefit to you and your team.
We just wanted to create a quick site in like 5 minutes so we could continue on with our game and not spend time on the site. If we pooled our knowledge together we could create a custom site out-of CSS and HTML based code, but what would be the point? our real project is the game and not the site. I do agree on some level with your statement for marketing and cost purposes though, but we are upgrading to a .com domain soon and wont be needing to code it our-selfs.

Hey everyone!
The game Kelasel Online is currently in developement by aGameLife. We have a .webs.com site address and are hoping for some regestration and input. once we feel confiedent that the site is to a good standard then we will pay for a premotion to a single .com domain. Please check it out! (yes we do know the current site name sucks and yes we are changing it to a professional name when we premote it)
