Loading a scene easily

With the new sandbox the expectation is set to be able to easily create and run levels in LE. But these is this huge gap between making the level and then loading it.

For all intensive purposes, LoadScene is broken. I know is a known issue, but we shouldn't have to do a 'processScene' after the load scene in an attempt to load lights and whatnot.

Either depreciate LoadScene or fix it up to be able to load everything a scene might have.

You get lights with LoadScene in C++?

I get lights, sounds, emitters, coronas, models etc..

Don't get a direct skybox parsing or so far waterplane.

All in C++

Waterplane works as well in Bmax.

If you want framewerk to be a C++ source code you will have to work with it and Lua. There is a way to expose your C++ classes to Lua, which could make this work very nice and seamlessly, but we need to take one step at a time.

My job is to make tools you love, with the features you want, and performance you can't live without.

Umm, LoadScene does everything for me...lights, models, etc. It basically runs the Lua script for every entity it loads...

Guys, could one of you (who has it working) share some example C++ code of loading your scenes with lights, sounds, emitters, coronas, models etc..?

And if you also got the environment skybox loading to work I'd totally appreciate it if you got some code to spare on that. :)

regards,

Alvaro

Edit: do you still require the ProcessScene cpp and header?
