Hello again, hope you are all doing good. So, second post for tonight. I've chosen to install Ubuntu on my main computer as a dual boot as I need to use Linux for school and because I like Linux. I've chosen dual boot because I still want Windows to be running as my main OS for compatibility and ease of use. Today I've finally took the time to install the latest of ubuntu on my computer and I wanted to try Leadwerk on Linux as I was curious. I wanted to open a .werk project but met an error when trying to import it inside the project manager. The project was created on Windows and w

Hi. Trying to use Leadwerks on Ubuntu 18.04 64bit with a Geforce GTX 750 Ti but when I try to open an existing project or start a new one, after clicking OK to load it, Leadwerks crashes. Nothing is written in the Leadwerks.log. I'm using the latest proprietary drivers and to use the old version is not an option in case that would be a solution. Could anyone help? I mean, it a fresh install of the OS and Leadwerks, so whatever the problem is, it must be solved on Leadwerks side. Thanks.

My problem is the following: I bought Leadwerks some weeks ago, and now I want to use it. As it requires OpenGL4, I believed that it would run on the latest version of RadeonSI supporting OpenGL 4.1, but when I try to launch the application, A window pops up saying that it "Failed to initialize Graphics" and that I should update my graphics driver. This is a thing that I do not want, as AMD Crimson edition is ****. When i launch the application with steam opened via terminal, it says that it is running in "experimental openGL 3 fallback". Im sure that the driver suports openGL 4.1

For any of you Ubuntu users, here is a little Ubuntu Launcher Wizard app with source code I wrote in Mono and GTKSharp. It's a simple UI for creating those *.desktop launcher files. http://crazyminnowstudio.com/posts/launcher-wizard-for-ubuntu/

fps fine, then permanently drops after LE restarts/longer session
Lunarovich posted a topic in Linux
I'm running LE on Ubuntu with AMD driver. Now, I have 2 issues, a minor and a major one. Firstly, VSync does not seems to work (yes, I've set Context:Sync(true)). Secondly, when I start LE after rebooting, it's quite fast. I get around 90 fps with water included on simple maps. Quite satisfactory. However, after a LE restart or two (or after a longer session without a restart), I get around 35 fps even when there are no objects in the map. The only solution is to reboot a computer. Any ideas? Thanx! EDIT This happens when I plug in external monitor to my laptop regardless wheth -
This is going to be a thread where I list various bugs I find, since there are only a few Linux users. Bugs: - CollisionHull Generator, It crashes quite a bit. Sometimes It works, but if you change the settings and reapply, crashes everything. - Apply Texture? Texture Lock? Buttons for these were missed for the Linux release or something according to Josh. - Tool Tips for Sidebar buttons! They work on the top bar, but not on the side bar T-T - Sticky / Wonky control key usage. Something is not quite right, Half the time it doesn't register and instead of duplicating I just

So I reinstalled ubuntu to get rid of the Steam client, but now I'm getting an error when trying to compile the default C++ project. The log: I don't remember the Steam client was one of the system requirements, but could be wrong.

I've been having trouble getting SDL to work with Leadwerks on Linux. It builds fine on Windows, but I've been getting the following error: ‘SDL_GameControllerAxis’ is not a class or namespace I set up Code::Blocks to use these: Compiler search directories: /usr/include/SDL2 Link libraries: /usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/libSDL2.so Options: -lSDL2 -lSDL2main Am I missing anything? Could I be pointed in the right direction? I have installed the libsdl2-2.0-0 and libsdl2-dev (with the ":i386" option) packages. Thanks!

It seems like I have a missing file when compiling. I looked in the directory where it's supposed to be (Leadwerks/Include/Libraries/glew-1.6.0/include/GL/) and I can't seem to find it. This occurs when compiling on Ubuntu.

Hi. I just bought 'Leadwerks Game Engine: Standard Edition' on Ubuntu. However: My Ubuntu machine only has a opengl 3.3 GPU, and as I read to late, Leadwerks needs opengl 4. So I tried to find a serial or something on my recipt, so I could install it on my more powerful Windows PC(Yes, I know I can dualboot, but still..), but to no avail. Is that order ONLY for the Ubuntu version of the software? I would just LOVE to be able to use it on all my platforms, and I would find it quite sad if the purchase is only for one platform. One last thing. Is there any possibility to connect th
