  1. Will this need to be updated to work with Blender 2.8?
  2. Would it be possible to expand the LOD for vegetation to have 3 LOD instead of just 2? (Close, not so close not too far, Real Far!)

    Vegetation Part 3

I am really looking forward to get my hands on this new vegetation system
  4. is not LE at least not entirely, AMD/ATI Drivers are not optimized properly on linux so the run slower than on Windows. I have an Nvidia chip and altho there is a minor difference in FPS the engine runs pretty much the same.
  5. AWESOME!! finally Vegies system man, Thank you!!
  6. When can we expect to use this Vegetation System on Leadwrecks?
  7. There is also ngPlant which is good, and has a linux executable. Here are some examples created with ngPlant: http://yorik.uncreated.net/greenhouse.html
  8. In ubuntu it's a bit more convenient to have Blender on Stem than actually download it from Blender.org, since Ubuntu does not offer the most upto date version. And Steam is specially useful since Irie Shinsuke no longer maintains his Blender PPA. Nevermind, I found a new PPA for Blender (good by Blender on Steam) https://launchpad.net/~thomas-schiex/+archive/ubuntu/blender
  9. I normally use Blender for almost Everything.
  10. No worries. but also just to note, Blender also comes with an plugin to do Tree's and Terrain Faster, i believe the plugins are called Sappling, and ANT. tho i still prefer to use NGPlant, and GIMP (for terrain)
  11. if you want to populate that Terrain with Flora, try: http://ngplant.org/ to create you own vegetation also here is a great compilation of more flora http://yorik.uncreated.net/greenhouse.html http://yorik.uncreated.net/archive/ngplants/ Tutorial http://yorik.uncreated.net/tutorials/treemaking.html
  12. This is more or less a public message for Josh. So I was Wondering if Josh could do a round of Polls after every mayor release (3.4, 3.5, 3.6...) with features he plans to implement in the future, and give us the opportunity to pitch in on what we (the users of LE) want to see. this should not be taken as democracy, more of an alignment of interests of what Josh wants to implement and what users want to see. My 2 cents
  13. I would like to recommend this one for the folks that rather not spend money and still want to learn Blender It may not be up-to-date, and may not be super fancy but gets you started quickly. http://gryllus.net/Blender/3D.html
  14. also Try http://www.blendswap.com/ not all models are Game Oriented, but is a great source for props, materials, and more
  15. This pool is great, Josh, you should create more Pools to see if what your customers want align with what you plan to do (just saying) Other Problems posed by RPG is that there is not just 1 kind of RPG, there is OpenWorld, Staged, Action, Racing, Plataform....almost anything can be turned into RPG, and i guess what most people have in mind when they think of RPG is TES(the Elder Scrolls), NeverWinter, The Witcher Series. So by having Modules that can be added to existing project you don't really need templates, you just need logic add-ins (now i am just talking out my...) so we could have some check boxes when creating a project stating what we want in, example: I want to create a Racing Game with RPG Elements (Inventory, Experience, Powers..) but also the ability to make it a 3D Platformer (think of a Transformers Racing RPG). if i use single template, i would not be able to accomplish this easily, but if i have the ability to just select what elements i want to work with from different templates this should be easily achieved. PS: sorry for the mental diarrh...
  16. It would be nice if they added support for the workshop for paid and free assets. also it would be nice for LeadWerks to add support for the paid workshop items and allow to extend the editor
  17. I would like to see a Landscape/Vegetation Addon something that gives you everything needed to create full landscapes with Rivers, Roads, Grass, Rocks, Boulders, Stump, Shores, Ocean, Trees, Palms, Day/Night Cycle, Rain, Snow. i know we can implement some of those stuff ourselves but it would be nice to have it already done for us and ready to be used.

    FlowGUI

Why not make it available as a DLC just like the Sci-Fi and Weapons assets, should give you plenty of visibility and you still get some $$ for it.
  19. I would love to see some Terrain making improvements, like: - Vegetation Painting - River Making tool - Road Making tool
  20. I like Leadwerks because: -It has a linux editor -It has a really nice and helpful community -It's royalty free -it's not expensive -It supports LUA as scripting language -It Continues to evolve
  21. How would i go about doin't it on LUA?
  22. so how would the same look piece of code look like on LUA?
  23. I would suggest looking at the latest Aggror tutorials, he shows how to do respawns. http://www.leadwerks.com/werkspace/topic/6217-c-lua-and-editor-tutorials/page__st__80
  24. I think what he is asking is: if anyone has created a small game/demo that anyone can executed without the need for the editor, so basically a already compiled and published game/demo.
  25. How about the opposite, to be able to work on linux for the time being? trading, or getting the a Indie or Standard key (provided proof of purchase on Steam)
